In China, most of the "home-cooking" places look rather bland to the westerners eyes. Same here. Upon entering I heard Cantonese and Mandarin. Good sign. And of course German, Russian, French. They provide two menus. Take the second one: it is written in Chinese with pictures for the illiterate (that would be me). The variety is sufficient and very authentic. Welcome to mainland China. The food was as good as the very friendly staff promised, and, I cannot stress enough, authentic. They're very kid-friendly, too. Small playground. In Regensburg, all Chinese places I encountered were diners with a buffet. This one is refreshingly different. We will definitely return. As always I rate by price value. It is 5/5. read more
