The food here is GREAT! This review is on my second visit. Wonderful customer service. Ambiance is family oriented. I ordered pepper steak, shrimp fried rice, General Tso Chicken and the owner gave me some Sweet Bread. I will never order the pepper steak again. Too little meat, but a TON of onions and peppers. Otherwise very tasty. Shrimp fried rice was good. Nice portion of shrimp throughout. General Tso chicken also good. Maybe cooked a little too long on some pieces, but tasted good. The Sweet Bread! As long as you aren't in a hurry, it's a great restaurant!! The people who work there make the food fresh each time. They do tend to take about 40 minutes to make your order when busy, but they have three people working there, so they are constantly working that's just how long it takes to make food. The food is great! They have NEVER messed up an order and actually often toss in free donuts! The tofu is amazing. And the people are super friendly! Would definitely recommend!! We wanted Chinese takeout but it was a Tuesday so all our usual places were closed. Decided to try this place. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes after I ordered over the phone, but it was more like 45 minutes before it was ready. The food was mediocre. The beef lomein and pork with garlic had hardly any meat, mostly vegetables and not a lot of flavor. The sesame chicken and crab rangoons were decent. The customer service was wonderful. I called in my order at 9:30pm on November 6th, 2021 and rolled up at 9:45pm. They were closing at 10:00pm, so I apologized for showing up so late and was greeted with smiles and warmth. The person running the store tonight deserves a raise- the whole team probably does. The wontons, so crispy and succulent inside. The lo-mein is spectacular. The Sesame chicken turned out wonderfully! Not dry inside, and the sauce holds a lovely stickiness while also being viscous enough to not clump together. You can tell the food is cooked with love 10/10! We ordered Mongolian Beef that was full of vegetables served with rice and egg roll. My husband had Moo Gai Pan and had to have his chicken recooked. It originally came out slimy and undone. They took it back and next try looked just the same....raw slimy rubber appearance like uncooked spoiled meat. Mongolian beef should only have green ions and beef. My dish had every vegetable and the meat tasted funny. Our egg roll was terrible and we could not eat them. If you value your stomach and your wallet. Don't eat here. In all our years together and eating out 4-5 times a week, this is the FIRSt time we have ever left our dinners basically untouched. read more

Years ago, this place was awesome. I think they changed management at some point and since then it has seemed to decline more and more. The last time I went, I ordered Mongolian beef. It looked nothing like what Mongolian beef should look like. It was full of different vegetables when it only should have contained onions. At first, I thought they'd given me the wrong order but he assured me that it was correct. It tasted like a combination of other dishes on the menu. It was not good and not what I was expecting. The best Chinese food ive had in Gastonia County. Since moving to NC from Connecticut it was hard finding good Chinese food. Their food is flavorful and reminds me more of The Chinese food up north. Their egg rolls are delicious. The steamed dumplings are crave worthy. Just all around good food. Their pork fried rice is crave worthy as well.
