This place had some of the best food and drinks we had in Puerto Rico. The margaritas were to die for and the food was very flavorful. The service especially was amazing. It might be difficult for you to communicate with the staff if you don't speak decent Spanish but some of the hostess speak English I believe. Our total was only $150 for 6 people, including drinks, entrees, etc. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

This was a great find! We are staying in Vega Baja and I wanted good food so *barely* found this on the internet. It was almost a 25 minute drive so around the 15 minute mark I started questioning my decision. It was a winding route and looked like I wasn't on the way to any restaurant. But we were and I'm glad I stayed the course. We had the most delightful service. Our server played down her English speaking but she was excellent and helped us understand everything on the menu. The place inside is sweet, decorated just so and quiet but we ate outside in the well-lit courtyard. Outside is where there is semi-loud music and the server told me that they have live music every weekends which would be so fun! The food: I had the frita carne and my daughter ordered the skirt steak. Rice and beans on the side for me along with an order of mofongo. I've had mofongo every night since I've been in PR and this was the best. It was delicious! Mashed but also delicious chunks of well seasoned plantain along with delicious bites of pork. This was so good. My daughter said her steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the tostones were fried but creamy inside. Delicious! If you have to go out of your way to go here, you should do it. It's hidden in a little unassuming street and the parking is a bit confusing. We parked before we got there (just up the street) in a big shopping store parking lot but it does look like they have a small parking lot right across the street that could handle a couple of cars. If you are in the area and looking for great local food, don't miss this place!

Sitting outside facing the Atlantic Ocean with the cool ocean breeze was such a beautiful and peaceful experience. The views alone made the stop worthwhile, but I was pleased with the entire experience. The service was great from start to finish. For appetizers, I ordered the Chicharrones de Pollo, which were flavorful and crispy. I also tried one of the mozzarella sticks, but it didn't have that satisfying cheese pull I was hoping for. My man ordered the shrimp mofongo and really enjoyed it, while my brother-in-law was very happy with his snapper fish. For my entree, I chose the Mofongo Relleno de Pollo, a mashed plantain mofongo topped with chicken, and it was delicious. The portion was decent and packed with flavor. For dessert I tried the guava flan. While the flavor was nice, the texture was a bit too tough for my liking. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the oceanfront views were absolutely amazing. If you're passing by the area, Playa Brava is definitely worth stopping by for a meal and a chance to enjoy the scenery.

It was fresh delicious and i can almost taste it writing this review. service was great. The tostones the ceviche came with were crispy hot and garlicky! The seafood mofongo was super good. All fresh seafood in a garlic sauce that complimented the mofongo lovely. I tried some chicharron de pollo as well. Crispy hot and savory. Yes I would love to come back here and try more food and recommend anyone in the area to do the same!
