It's a one of best place where I have tasted khinkali. And exactly it's a best in Krakow where you can taste Georgian cuisine. Very friendly personal. Waiter speaks in Polish, English and Russian. I waited order about 20 minutes. I'd like to recommend you to book a table, because it has not so many tables and pretty popular. If you come without booking it will be no free table.

Kuchnia u Doroty - Pierogi z truskawkami (Sweet strawberry dumplings) (32 zł) - sauce is sweet, but the pierogi themselves weren't very sweet

I would say Poland definitely is and has a world class soup culture, they take soups very seriously there. The mushroom soup I had was like no other I've ever had anywhere absolutely phenomenal!! Almost every restaurant we visited had 3 to 4 soups on the menu. Kuchnia u Doroty specializes in Soups, Schnitzels, Bigos, Roast Pork, Perogies, Pickled Herring and more. Service is excellent and the ambiance holds a wonderful cozy surprise especially when dining downstairs. By all means hit this place up, you won't be disappointed.

The staff are all very friendly and professional and have in depth knowledge of the menu. This was particularly helpful when trying to understand some of the menu that I was unfamiliar with. We ended up ordering one order of their meat pierogis and one order of their cheese and potato pierogis. They gave a portion of 10 pierogis and they were very filling. We also got their żurek and barszcz soups and all were super flavorful and light. Overall this place is a solid spot and I would come back.

This place was fantastic. I am Ukrainian-American, visiting Poland from the United States with my…read moreAmerican boyfriend. The food here is just as authentic and delicious as the best Ukrainian food I've had, and very reasonably priced and portioned. We had the borscht, pelmeni, and nalesniki (sweet pancakes/crepes with jam) for dessert. All of them looked fantastic and were even more tasty than they looked. I would definitely recommend those dishes -- they are made well here, and they are a good place to start to experience Ukrainian cuisine. (My boyfriend was hooked.) The location is a little hard to find -- Kalejdoskop doesn't show up on Google maps (at least not yet) and it is below ground in a tunnel with other shops. It doesn't feel touristy but has an English menu if you ask (and they appeared to have menus in other languages too). It's small and cozy and definitely worth a visit if you are looking for great Ukrainian food in Krakow.

While interior and location is far from glamorous the food is generously portioned, good value and tasty. Best off all the staff are very friendly and warm. Basically like a Polish "milk bar" but friendly. I would recommend the Ukrainian Borscht, Solanka (Ukrainian sour soup with sausage, potatoes and other goodies) and naleśniki z mięsem (crepes stuffed with meat).
