I explained that I had 2 uncles die of covid and we were struggling to raise money for our family. I was later informed by a secretary that I owed a large sum and it was only going to cover one year (for which there was going to be no return because it was so late.. ) It was very upsetting and I told her to tear it up and that I would have to bring my business elsewhere I would have never agreed to $2000 dollars for what would have amounted to a half hour of paper work She called me unethical and said they would do the one year for free (in a very condescending tone). She said and I quote, "we will tear up your check and to consider this one year of a return a gift from us" The disagreement was upsetting but I was relieved and grateful at the same time. I later got a bill in the mail My friend later told me that after giving these folks blood sweat and tears they pulled a similar stunt on her. I guess this is how the rich stay rich. The guy has a shiny 120 thousand dollar car out front in a very working class neighborhood where many of us are struggling to get through these hard times. I don't understand why they wouldn't have just sent me somewhere else. They offer to do the one year free, then send me a bill after all .
