I have repainted the interior of our whole house and never have had a problem with any of the colors I have used. They can even match colors of random paint chips you bring in. The scheduled meeting was at 7:30 this morning. I took off work which I usually head in about 5am. At 7:50 I make a call to find out where the guy was who was going to look at the project. I was told he had to run to the office early this morning and is on the phone right now. .......... Soooo my time is not worth anything? If a person forgot the appointment I can understand. But I was told differently and as I hung up on them I heard him asking if they could reschedule. A little late for that. Very inconsiderate. I'll be going another direction.

Brian was amazing to work with on the exterior project. He was very conscientious and talked to us throughout the project to make sure it was done the way we wanted it. We love the final product and now will have little maintenance to keep up the house exterior. Though space was minimal, CS staff helped us to devise a workable plan to get the storage we wanted in our master bedroom without adding onto the house. We got additional closet space in our master bedroom that we needed, a beautiful walk-in shower, and bathroom update. Jon and his crew did a nice job with the interior remodel. CS Construction installed new siding in fall of 2025. Initially the work was going very well and I…read morewas satisfied until they said it was complete. The stored my heavy glass storm door in its frame on it's side and hinges on rough uneven landscaping rock in full sun all day for 6 days. I took it for granted that they must know what they're doing. Was I wrong. They re-hung the door leaving over a 1/2 inch gap on the open side exposing the latch, which was barely catching, so didn't really stay closed. Their answer to fix this was to loosen a few screws on that side of the frame so it would shift towards the door. So, the frame is loose, a good yank and it would all come down and the gap was still over 3/8 inch. I called again. They don't return calls or respond to emails. I finally took time off without pay and had to to go the office. They came a 2nd time. Tightened the screws they loosened and adjusted it from the hinge side. Sure, the gap is acceptable, but now the door handle butts up against the door jamb. I have to use the handle to lift up the door to work the lock and open and close the door. Chris, the owner, tells me it's an old door and I didn't purchase it through them so he basically isn't going to do anything. He has insulted me and shown me disrespect at every turn. Treating me like I'm a stupid and know nothing about hanging a door. Actually, I do and have hung doors in the past. Too old and have arthritis now though. Remember above, I stated how they store it after THEY removed it. I did some research and found out that will damage the door frame causing it to warp and also damage the hinges causing issues like sticking and difficulty opening and closing the door. As soon as they removed it and stored it, it became their responsibility to ensure it wasn't damaged and that they re-hung t correctly afterwards. I didn't expect it to hang like a brand new door, but I do expect it to work properly as it did before they touched it. They also have to fix a couple of pieces of siding which were hung badly and hanging half off, which I noticed a few days after they finished. It wasn't due to any storm damage either. Lesson learned. I paid a lot of money for a professionalism, but surely didn't get it. Don't get me wrong the foreman for my job was great. The rest not so much and Chris, well I won't say what I think of him. I will never recommend them and will go out of my way to tell people to steer clear of them solely because of Chris.

Craig and his team just put a metal roof on our house, did a great job…read more Craig is responsive, always calling back quickly to answer questions, quotes came fast and he was knowledgeable about the various kinds of roofing materials available. He was very flexible as we changed our minds once and was able to provide a new quote quickly. Once we committed to getting the work done, he was again very responsive, with the work being completed within a couple weeks of the time we decided what to do. While they were here, they also fixed a problem with one of our gutters, and last fall they were on-site the same day we had a problem with our old shingles blowing loose in a wind storm. One of the ways I evaluate any person I do business with is what they do when there is a problem; we had a an unanticipated issue with a snow storm with very high winds getting some snow into our attic while the project was underway and Craig and his team were again, responsive, helpful and dealt with the issue with no conflict or hassle for us. Craig was recommended to us by a friend, who made the comment that "This guy just gets stuff done!" and I agree with that. I have no problem making very positive recommendation for Craig and his team at Champion.
