As we docked and got our Wi-Fi connection back I googled to find a chiropractor in the area. I'm from PA and have a wonderful chiropractor who has walk-in appointments 7 days a week. Dr. Wesley was the only doctor I could find that was opened on Saturday. I called and she was able to take me. I have to admit I was scared since I wasn't from the area and this new person was going to be adjusting my neck. I became even more leary when I arrived and she was teaching piano lessons...I even wondered if she was licensed!! However, after I talked with her and she gave me a thorough examine, really asking thought provoking questions about my history to make sense of my symptoms, I became much more comfortable and confident in her abilities as a doctor. Dr. Wesley then adjusted me, providing me with almost immediate results. I found that I really liked her physical adjustment techniques. She was able to relax me to easily adjust my neck and even my hips (which I freeze on even with my own chiropractor). Dr. Wesley was also able to provide me with ultrasound on my neck to reduce my high tension and alleviate the headache even more. Although acupuncture has helped me in the past and she was able to offer me that as well, time restraints had me decline. Although I knew I would have to pay out of pocket, Dr. Wesley emailed me a receipt and then sent an EOB to my insurance company so I will be reimbursed for the majority of my bill. I can't thank Dr. Wesley enough! I was so thankful for her help and was able to enjoy my vacation pain and headache free! If I lived in the area, she would be my chiropractor. I went in and before anything was done their insurance employee came in and went over my coverage. ASSURED me that everything was covered, just my copay. THREE months later I received a statement telling me I owed over $200 and it was over 91 days overdue!! I called them and I was told I had been misinformed by their employee and she had been fired but I was responsible for knowing my own insurance. So why have the service to help you if it is NOT reliable? Two weeks later, they submitted it to collections. Merry Christmas! Not even enough time to gather the money and pay them. The billing person is beyond rude. The doctor was okay but if he is condoning this kind of behavior I would never go there.
