Dr Chad is a great listener and really focuses in on the underlying cause of my pains. I've had general chiropractic care, e-stim treatments, and laser therapy. I've been a patient at Chiropractic Wellness Center in Fenton for a little under 2 years. I'm amazed by this practice! Starting with the warm, welcoming staff. I've had some notoriously bad chiropractor experiences in the distant past (think hounding me to come in multiple times a week for months on end, amid other less than ethical situations), so I was cautious going in. I could not be more amazed! No x-rays getting over used, no strictly automated treatments without the actual touch from the doctor. They listen, assess and adjust for better comfort and reduction of future problems. Very quickly Dr. Katie was moving me to far less frequent visits (but with the option to come in sooner if needed) and I was feeling better and better. Very helpful even after my first visit. After a recent surgical procedure, I was forced to lay on my back instead of my side (as was usual) for two weeks. After two weeks I ended up with a sore neck, shoulder and shooting pain down into my right leg. My neck got so sore that I couldn't turn my head more than 25 degrees to the right or even touch my chin to my chest. I made the appointment after checking out their web site at http://www.cwcchiropractic.com. I was impressed because the input form could be filled out and submitted online before my visit. The online questionnaires could be printed and pre-filled out as well, saving me from the waiting-room-while-filling-out-forms time. A snap, crackle and pop later by Dr. Woodson with a great add-on pop by Dr. Lofquist, and I was feeling markedly better upon leaving. All-in-all a quick and efficient process. I will definitely go back the next time I need to and highly recommend them. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Overschmidt and her health care team for over a year now. I'm 33 years young, but do a lot of physical labor in the garden and yard. I also chase a toddler around... but I also drive 7.5 hours a week for my work commute and then sit behind a desk for 8 more hours a day. It's a lot of all out movement and then restricted movement. I was finding my lower back, neck, and legs were tingling, aching, and my sleep was getting worse and worse as I could never get comfortable and would wake frequently throughout the night. (Despite a brand new mattress and some sleep aid from my primary care doctor.) After about a month of seeing Dr. Overschmidt 2x a week I was noticing a drastic improvement in my physical health and mood. After scaling down to one time a week for several more months I was getting stable and lasting relief. Outside of just the physical adjustments from Dr. Overschmidt (which never hurt... no matter how much I was hurting when I walked in the door, I never experienced physical pain during an adjustment), but the bonus is her staff always use rush and stim before the adjustment for ten minutes to help you relax. If you've not experienced rush and stim before, it's where the technician places little sticky pads on your sore spots and the pads send gentle micro current waves of relaxation through the area. It is my absolute favorite. It makes even my ridiculously tight shoulders melt with happiness before I even get adjustment--and that part isn't even extra like it is at other doctor offices. Which this mama, and her tight budget, really appreciate. But I digress, I still see Dr. Overschmidt and her team, although not as frequently as the initial work she did to correct the imbalance in my nervous system and spine alignment have helped me feel stronger and more stable as I live my life. I continue to go in for my monthly tune-ups, after injuries, or when I'm encountering stressful times in my life and I know my neuro-spinal health could really use the boost. (Like right now, I'll be going weekly as something to look forward to as I'm a school counselor and want to be my best for my family and my students.) My father was a chiropractor and I've experienced over 15 different doctors, clinic styles, adjustment styles. Most were fine, two were terrible, but Dr. Overschmidt is by far the most skilled physician with her adjustments. They are gentle, but strong, never hurt, and most importantly give me pain relief. Her staff is also such a joy to see. They genuinely seem to love their work culture, care for their patients, and want to see the best for our health. I am a patient of Dr Emily Odom at Chiropractic Family Wellness Center. Dr Odom is very professional, and really takes the time to listen to my concerns. I have a pretty complex spinal fusion, and Dr Odom is very gentle around my fused areas. She is honest, and willing to put in hard work to help solve my problems. I expressed my concerns regarding the MRI she was going to order for me, and she found the perfect place which offers an open, and upright MRI experience. The office is very clean, which is very important to me! I always see staff wiping down the tables, equipment and changing the paper between every patient. The rooms, and the office itself is very modern and up to date.. The front desk staff make scheduling a breeze, and are willing to work around busy schedules. They offer text and email appointment reminders. I am hoping in in future they offer a patient portal online. They are very professional, and can answer any questions you may have I am hoping in the future they would be open 7 days a week, incase something happens on one of their off days. I have not used their massage therapist, so I cannot review that portion at this time.. Overall I am very pleased! read more

Dr Lori and Dr Angela are great. The we able to help our son, who was 9 months at the time, who was struggling with Torticollis. We had tried all the suggestions our pediatrician had given us from stretches to expensive physical therapy. The next step was a $1000+ helmet that I was not excited about. Fortunately we found CWC first and he is doing great. His head is now shaped nearly perfect, he has full range of motion and loves going to see Dr Lori and Dr Angela. Fantastic place and experience! After having my first child I had wrist pain that my OB and Dr. declared as "De Quervain's Tenosynovitis." After almost 2yr of physical therapy having to go back in twice because the pain never went away. The pain was almost miserable, I struggled to pick my baby up out of her crib. I was pregnant with my second and because of inflammation I didn't want to try PT again so I decided to try the chiropractic way. I called Chiropractic Wellness center and was able to get in that day. I haven't had the pain since. They helped keep my aligned and pain free my whole pregnancy too. That has been nearly over 2 years ago since I found out about them. They treat whatever you need and if one Dr. can fix it the others are all willing to help. I have been living with fibromyalgia for over 20 years. I have been through all kinds of treatments to the point that my rheumatologist told me he had nothing else to try except for long term Prednisone, which I refuse to take unless the pain got so bad that I couldn't walk. I can only remember 1 day in the last 20 years when I was pain free and I was in the hospital receiving IV steroids and an IV medication for a Migraine. Since starting therapy with Dr. Lofquist I have stopped taking the nightly pain medication (oxycodone) and nightly muscle relaxant (flexiril) that I have been taking for at least 10 of the last 20 yrs. My pain isn't completely gone, which is part my fault do to I don't have the time to go to see her more than once a week, and I have actually started going for walks without increased pain. For most people they might not think this is a very big deal, but those of you that have fibromyalgia will totally understand the significance of this. I have been pleasantly surprised at the amount of improvement that I have had in just 2 and 1/2 months. The office is very relaxing atmosphere and the Doctors and Massage Therapist are wonderful and makes you feel very comfortable while being treated. read more
