This practice is awful! I asked Dr Crosby serval times if she was a license acupuncturist? I was told yes I am licensed! I told her my insurance only covered a licensed acupuncturist! Unfortunately for the first time in 35 years I did not receive an explanation of benefits until after 7 treatments were completed! Another very unfortunate situation is that she is not licensed, only certified! There is a huge difference between the two! A licensed acupuncturist is a state regulated practitioner with 2000 to 4000 hours of training. Someone who is certified only needs to have 100-300 hours of acupuncture training ! No insurance will cover a person who is only certified! This practice knows the difference! They told me they did turn it into my insurance, but it was lost in their clearinghouse! I find it impossible to believe that bc like I said it's the first time in 35 years my insurance did not send me a EOB in a timely manner! I think it's possible with maybe one week but not 7 weeks without the insurance receiving a bill! I have explained serval times how unfair these circumstances are, I explained that I would share my experiences everywhere I could if she didn't at the very least meet me 1/2 way! She refused! She threatened to turn me over to collections which she did! It's very sad a business is so desperate to make money by being dishonest and using billing practices to deceive people! Interesting as I read the reviews the billing seems to be an ongoing problem! read more

Dr. Crosby has no bed side manner, I was with an assistant as she was taking my blood pressure, I knew the wrist cuff was wrong and was explaining to assistant that I take my BP readings daily, Crosby spoke up and said in a gruff voice "you have to be quiet" her tone was rude. No stars lower than one.. I am wondering why they would want to take x-rays when I submitted an MRI. Charge you 30.00 for an x ray when you have over 1500 MRI which is more in depth....the doctor told me an MRI is for seeing the nerves and the x ray is for the bones......that is a laugh to a paramedic. I have been treated by Dr. Hinzman for the last 4weeks or so and she has helped me immensely! She targets the adjustment to what is needed, and doesn't just give an overall adjustment "routine" that is always the same no matter what your condition is. In the four visits I've had to see Dr Hinzman at this office, I found her and everyone else there to be pleasant and professional. They also care about everyone's safety by taking temperatures as soon as someone walks in the door and then directing them to wash their hands in the restroom before going into a waiting area or treatment room. Both patients and staff have to wear masks, except for staff behind the plexiglass at the front desk, and everyone wears them correctly over their nose as well as mouth! I was a patient at crosby chiropractic and acupuncture, owned by jenny crosby, for over 10 years. During that time they told me i had advanced disc degeneration and fibromyalgia, and if i were to quit going i would need spinal surgery. In addition to this, one of their "doctors" messed up my neck so badly i had a hard time moving my head for over a year. I decided to go see a spinal surgeon with my current flare up. He informed me i had mild if any disc degeneration, my spine looked in good health, and i just may have a buldged disc. I informed him of what i was told and he told me none of it was true. So once again, thank you crosby chiropractic and acupuncture for lying, deceiving, and stealing your patients money. Shame on you. Also i dont have fibromyalgia, never did. read more
