This is a Peruvian restaurant in Recife--I've wanted to come here for a while, and I finally managed to get it in my schedule. I'm so sorry I didn't come sooner! The food, ambience and service are all excellent. The food is unique in the area (I don't know of another Peruvian restaurant or anything even similar to this in the entire region).
The executive chef is Biba Fernandes, who is also at the helm of Chicama (also in Recife). The restaurant is housed in what was a beautiful old mansion in a lovely neighborhood in Recife. The food is better described as Peruvian with a Brazilian accent.
Our waiter for the two times we ate here (coincidentally and happily) was Sandro, who knows and explains the food and drinks available with an ease and comfort that only one of the best waiters can do. Not only this, but he is well-informed about many restaurants and hotels in the area as well as other restaurants that belong to the Association of Restaurants of Boa Lembrança.
I really can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I will definitely be back to enjoy another dining experience here and I highly recommend that if you're anywhere nearby, that you should too. read more
