I was surprised our hosts didn't take advantage of the extensive grounds! So many cool spaces to expand the party to! I hear the rental price is really affordable. I would definitely rent this space especially for a Summer or Autumn party.

I shopped around in Seattle and Bothell--and Cherry Falls had far more ambiance at a better price than the big city offerings. We liked the large windows in the back that showed the trees and forest (our family member who passed was an avid hiker and outdoor lover). There is a kitchen that includes a 30-cup coffee maker, as well as two lovely water dispensers, and much more. There is a large screen with the electronics and speakers to show a slide show or movie. The parking lot is huge, the place is easy to find, right off the road, but it feels peaceful and secluded. The proprietor, Autumn, met us there to go through the electronics and the other details, and before I showed with all my snacks and flowers, she'd already put white tablecloths on all five (huge) tables, and pulled out additional smaller tables for pictures and memorabilia. Everything was spotlessly clean, including a large bathroom and cloakroom. Really, we couldn't have asked for more. I whole-heartedly recommend this venue!

Clean, no smell, staff smiling, happy, so welcoming. We sat inside, tables a good distance apart from each other, they clearly value each customer, not each dollar. Nice patio outside over looking the water. Food, we started with artichoke dip, wow so good, cheesy, served with toast, a great shareable appetizer. Dinner I had street bang shrimp tacos, and my wife had the royal with cheese burger. Fresh cook, this is not a kitchen that is reheating or use microwave's. Their cooking staff cares. Fresh, simple and so plated, excellent. Wait staff, friendly, but not hovering, our waitress, amazing. Smiling checking in but not overwhelming. This is a wonderful little gem in Port Orchard, and a nice nod to the movie Pulp Fiction

Whiskey Gulch has some customer service work to do!!…read more The food looked amazing, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try it due to a complete service breakdown. While dining with a friend, I told our server I'd be placing a to-go order halfway through my drink, but he disappeared for over 45 minutes. I eventually had to flag down another server to place my order--an A mushroom burger, a Zeus salad with gyro meat, and a bacon cheeseburger(no cheese) --while also requesting a box and the check for my friend. After waiting another 25 minutes with no updates, we had to ask a third person for the check because my friend's baby was getting restless. Our original server finally returned and casually mentioned he had been on break, never having passed our table off to anyone else. When I asked about my food, he realized the second server never even entered the order into the system. He offered to "rush" the items, but after already waiting nearly 40 minutes for an order that was never started, I wasn't willing to wait another 30 minutes. It was incredibly frustrating to walk away empty-handed after spending 90 minutes dealing with a lack of basic communication and follow-through. It was a beautiful outside and was really nice to sit outside and look at the ocean, not super comfortable seats but the view makes up for it. 2 stars because my vodka lemonade was good, the staff is friendly but just all over the place and such bad communication.

We attended a multi-generational gathering, over three days, and everything from the property, to the buildings/rooms, to the staff and food were excellent. The parking ample, the amenities sparse but completely satisfactory. We were most impressed by the young staff - in the dining hall and the grounds/facilities keepers - were so smiley, friendly, warm and seemed happy to be of service. We truly loved our first visit and stay and look forward to more opportunities to be at Seabeck Conference Center again.

Of the three swings at the main play area, one was broken. There was a single half-court basketball court. The lone tetherball pole was broken. There was a badminton court but no racquets. The food service was woefully inadequate. We had a vegetarian option, selected and paid for in advance. On day two dinner, they served us a tiny portion, perhaps 300 calories. Breakfast the third day the kitchen staff told us they were out of vegetarian food and it wouldn't be replenished that day. There was no manager of expo in the dining room at any time. Indeed, I never saw a manager or anyone besides kitchen serving staff at all during the whole weekend. The facility said no snacks were allowed for the family camp, but there were no snacks available on site at all during the weekend, a very odd omission for a family focused camp. It was an incredibly disappointing trip. The accommodations were very dated and dusty but reasonably clean. The value for the dollar was very poor. It was twice as expensive as Camp Orkila, but aside from 1960s era motel accommodation, it was inferior in every way.

I usually associate Kiana Lodge with weddings. My first visit on a rainy Sunday afternoon was for a celebration of life memorial (4/6/25). This can be accessed by car via ferry sailings from Edmonds/Kingston or Seattle/Bainbridge Island or driving around the sound from Seattle/Tacoma. I also received an e-newsletter where Kenmore Air can provide transport via seaplane for special events onsite. The Garden Atrium was arranged with a reception area and coat service. A table was set up with various curated memorabilia, A/V services to provide slide show and speaker capability. There was also an open bar, coffee/tea service including water and lemonade, and catering services were also provided. Delicious cuisine. Beautiful, serene views and seating also allowed for mingling and sharing anecdotes. A genuine celebration of a very accomplished individual who left lasting legacy, demonstrated a strong love of family, and a truly a life well lived. Beautiful destination for private events.

Stunning Views and Perfect Retreat Setting…read more I recently stayed at Sacred Waters Retreat Center for a group weekend retreat, and the location is absolutely spectacular. The property offers breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Hood Canal and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains in the distance. The landscaping is beautifully maintained and really enhances the natural beauty of the property. For the price point, this place offers excellent value--you really can't beat the combination of affordability and those stunning water and mountain views. Special shoutout to Lois, the landscaper, who was absolutely wonderful and clearly takes great pride in maintaining the grounds! We had an outdoor wedding, with a gorgeous western view of the Olympic mountains and a reception in the spacious barn. We would absolutely recommend Raspberry Ridge Farm to anyone looking to get married in Kitsap County.
