Have you walked into fancy chocolatiers and felt like your patronage worth only as much as the money you spend there?
Everyone loves chocolate but for $$$ each designer pop, you would save it for "special occasions "or "had a bad day" or even the "extra annoying people I need to drown out of my head by eating chocolate day".
Well, chocolatier may not be the name you think of when you think designer chocolate. Maybe because you can find them in local woollies or Coles, or maybe because they are locally owned and produced.
But these guys topped the chocolatier shop ladder for me if there is one. Why?
1. Their prices are lower than other chocolatiers without compromising quality ( you can still find your champagne truffles to solid buttons or bars) they average $1-2 ea.
2. They are established by 2 melburnian brothers
3. Service is 5* here. How many times have I popped in for a single piece of choccie, for $1, and without fail, the lovely staff happily wrap them with ribbon of your choice. I've never felt judged.
4. Variety - truffles, solids in shapes like tennis racquet, soft centred medium sized choccie to personalised packs.
My hats off to this establishment, I believe this is what keeps their loyal customers back and back again. If you are ever in the area, pop in and you'll be surprised at what you find. read more
