I found most of the German locations that sell chocolate to be of average quality. This location in…read morethe underground of Stachus Pasagen at Karlsplatz, has a nice variety but fits in the average category. Going by the moniker of Swiss Chocolate, I have had better "Swiss" chocolate. Not as expensive as expected there is a nice choice of items. The truffles were ok but we found the bark to be better quality and more flavorful. The staff of young ladies were very patient as we picked out our truffles and provided service with a smile. You might have to hunt this location out so it might not be worthwhile; then again most chocolatiers in Munich were not worthwhile.

Otherwise, take it home or pack it up and fly across the country with it! Either way, a delicious treat :) I ended up buying some chocolate bars and a small gift basket as souvenirs along with the hot chocolate spoons I enjoyed outside. The packaging is ~aesthetic~ and makes a great gift!

My mother and I attended the chocolate tours they host of Saturdays and had a delightful time. Although it was 100% in German, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and got to make our very own chocolate bars. The employees were so kind and I think they felt a little sympathetic as we don't speak German. Yes, the chocolate is pricey but it's an experience and worth every penny.
