I want to love this store based on its cool name but unfortunately there's not much style or substance to be found inside.
There are plenty of trinkets, glassware and household decorations but they're the sort of decorations which are designed for display in a home style store as opposed to endowing a house with personality.
Take the impractically large bundles of fake flowers and long grasses. It looks great in the shop but where would I actually fit it in my house? Likewise their gigantic colourful, resin platters are more suitable for display than serving up food. Not that there's anything wrong with a display platter outside a gallery exhibition setting except that these ones are exceptionally ugly.
With all the other gorgeous lifestyle and home stores around, I probably won't be back anytime soon. read more
