I'm glad we did because we had a lot of fun at the West Bay Casino! Please note that this review is for the casino only. We did not stay at the resort (yet!). Yes, the casino is small. Especially compared to Winstar or Choctaw. But we actually enjoyed a change of pace and different atmosphere than the mega casinos. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. The casino, restrooms, and beverage area were CLEAN! There were also a few slot machines that you can't find at the other big casinos. And while smoking is allowed, it was not overwhelming like at other casinos. We only had a short amount of time to spend at the West Bay Casino, but one day we will book a room or maybe one of the cabins which looked really nice and spend a weekend here. The pool and outdoor patio area looked very nice as well and the view of Lake Texoma is great. Don't pass up this little hidden gem!

I played mainly the bingo slots as the one in Durant got rid of the polar bear disco and panada bear as I like to see them dance. The first couple of machines I did not have any luck. At first I got really lucky and got the red screens and got a $400 win, but everything from there went down hill and could not stop myself and should have played another game or left for Durant as I ended up giving them $700 dollars of my money. They used to do it here, but not anymore. The shower is amazing as I can be in there for 30 minutes, but beware I made a mess on one of the visit as the massage sprayer is quite powerful. I have stayed in their regular rooms and it is alright and I have accidentally booked a smoking room on the west side. Food I have eaten at all of their restaurants except for Chili's now. They have a quick bite to eat like the Cove, a sports bar dining which was not too bad, food was reasonable priced, but we got our food comped and they have the fancy steak house which I enjoy going to as well which the prices are not too bad. We usually spend around 100 dollars there. Gaming They usually keep most of their machines, but sometimes they do change the machine. You can visit the gas station as well and even though it is smaller and a couple of them, they have a great selection of bingo games and have some games that are not within the main casino floor. I am sure my wife would have gone with me to check it out. I did hit my highest jackpot and found out I can get a check. So for now on any jackpot over $2400 I request a check. I had a lot of luck here, but two of my last visits I did not hit a jackpot which is okay. I think this year I will be down big at that casino. I am extremely disappointed by Choctaw's policy regarding accessible rooms. Guests who require…read moreaccessibility accommodations cannot reserve an accessible room in advance. Instead, these rooms are apparently offered on a "first come, first served" basis--leaving people with disabilities unable to know whether their basic needs will be met when they arrive. We were planning a family gathering at a nearby short-term rental, but my mother could not stay there because of her significant mobility limitations. We thought Choctaw would be a comfortable and dependable alternative. However, after multiple calls, we were repeatedly told that an accessible room could not be guaranteed or reserved, even when the accommodation is medically necessary. My parents live six hours away in Houston. They simply cannot make that drive without confidence that my mother will be able to safely enter, move around, and use the bathroom in her room. Accessibility is not a preference or a "special request." For many guests, it determines whether traveling and staying at a property is possible at all. A policy that leaves accessible rooms to chance effectively excludes guests with disabilities and their families. This was incredibly frustrating, discouraging, and disappointing. Choctaw should urgently reconsider how it handles accessible-room reservations.
