The main building was closed but signs indicate there is a marketplace available on the weekends. They host lots of events at this location so they are organized and well versed in keeping things going. The forward tees were around 5000 yds which is a good distance. Tee boxes were often a bit rough but fairways were nice and greens rolled true. No fluffy sand here so stay out of the traps. Water didn't play much of a role on any holes. Fairways were open and there were few blind shots. The event hosted a dinner which was good. Chicken was tasty and I liked the coleslaw. Typical post-golf-tourney fair was done well. I enjoyed my first experience on the course. Staff was awesome. Parking lot was huge. It was a great golf day.

It is the reason why we normally come back for Mother's Day brunch as well. This year however, we will not be coming back for Mother's Day because of the many changes made for Easter. While I understand costs have increased, the cost per head was still higher than many other places around and the selection and quality went significantly lower than years past. Here are the noticeable changes that disappointed my family, No fresh veggie trays (not everyone likes roasted veggies) Lack of cold seafood (shrimp, salmon) Lack of deserts (only cupcakes this year) Lack of salad choices- again only one Kid friendly dishes, this year even scrambled eggs had cooked fish in them Waffles had fruit - none that were just plain. Then for seating at 10, all food should be out and ready, yet many items were not out until 10:15-10:30. While the food was still delicious, the lack of choices from years past really hit us as "not special" any more. Nothing unique over other brunches.

The course is well maintained with not too many bunkers and not much water but I did manage to find some. A good mix of hole lengths. The service in the pro shop was underwhelming - not the most welcoming but not rude. We got a cart for my dad who had knee surgery not too long ago. It had rained that day but there were no carts on cart path only signs except the par 3. It kept telling him to return to cart path even on a par 5 and would become inop and then make him back up. When we circled back to the pro shop they were able to do a special setting given his knee so they did fix that issue.

The tee boxes were a bit chewed up at times. Fairways nice and rough had some thick grass. Because of recent rain, sand traps were either soggy or like dirt. Staff was friendly. We were paired up with two fun guys were who were lovely to golf with. It was rather slow. We waited on most shots. It was extremely busy and I did notice a ranger on the course at times which was helpful. Carts did not have GPS but there were poles in the fairway to guide you a bit. Loved the flowers. We enjoyed our experience so upped the rating a bit.
