With a fractured kneecap I was unable to maneuver the 4 steps leading into my house. JaxCare was able to send two men to lift me out on a stretcher. The transporters were courteous, sympathetic, gentle and very patient. It is very pricey if you are going by stretcher as they have to send two men but the peace of mind of not maneuvering the stairs was worth it.
