The lack of empathy was disheartening and unacceptable, especially in a hospice setting where care and kindness should be a priority. My hope is that the hospice center takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of their staff to ensure no other family has to endure such treatment during an already difficult time. Families in these situations deserve support, compassion, and understanding--not rudeness and indifference.
