Second site was much better put hubby add to modify the sew pipe that had in ground, was way to high with no slop. So, the wind here can be very high, 50-60 mph , so make sure you have your skirting secured. They Do Not do snow removal at camp ground. Other then these issues , we did enjoy our stay. Hours are funky. Basically closed during winter and limites hours at other times due to flooding risks and all that good stuff. Salmon Lake is ideal for boating, camping during summer and lounging around. Im not sure about swimming in the lake. Kinda sketchy depending on boats and human pollution. Night time is surreal on clear nights. The night sky illuminates all the stardust in their pure glory. The colors are different than what we cali scumbags are accustomed to seeing based on their proximity to the north. Either way. Kick back and relax. Let nature sooth your soul.

It lacks pretension, it's doesn't have a bunch of frills. And it's perfect! Full hook ups, pull thru, very spacious. It's close to Glacier, so we were able to roll our motorcycle out of the back of our rig and ride into the park. This really is a hidden gem, you just can't beat the view or the scenery. It's walking distance to the village and we are of the opinion Serranos for dinner is your best bet. Laundromat serves not only the local community but the campground as well. This is essentially a 3 or 4 acre spacious lot in front of someones home and we could not ask for a better place for our base camp for our motorcycle adventure in Glacier.

The other option in Great Falls is the KOA, and honestly, do not even bother. They tried to quote us an outrageous amount for the summer time. My kids enjoyed playing in the grass just fine without "the reputation and amenities of the KOA". HIGHLY recommend this RV park. If we are ever back in Great Falls this will be our first choice! P.S. their water pressure is high so just make sure you run it for awhile before connecting it and make sure you have a good water pressure gauge!

I said they need to have the picnic tables At the site as promised and she made excuses about how many had been in disrepair. I said they needed to buy more to replace. Next up a trip to the enclosed dog area which was about 1/4 Mile down the road. Upon our arrival we found the gate zip tied and padlocked. Not a happy camper at this point. Reported to the office and she said she didn't know it was closed. THAT'S HER JOB!!!!! I should have taken it as a warning when I booked the reservation and selected a site then was told it would cost $5 to guarantee the spot I picked. This place flat doesn't care!
