What a beautiful, interesting, large, and well-stocked library. As a retired librarian, I've made…read morea habit of checking out libraries wherever I go. This one was a shear delight. It was a very busy place, on a hot day, with many, many patrons studying, reading, hanging out. It is one branch of the vast 35-branch Riverside County Public Library system. Ample parking, the parking slips butt up against a thoughtfully designed walkway with signage telling you about the history of Temecula. Once inside the library, there is a beautiful mosaic-mural depicting sea-to-outer space, perhaps a nod to what all is in store for the curious patron. The Children's Area is decorated with dozens of stuffed animals atop the book cases. There are painting on the walls. Lots of visual stimulation. But, if you need some calm, further in the library, there is a whole window wall with comfortable seating overlooking a vast valley. Almost every shelf had an intriguing book on display front facing. Books that my library in San Diego does not own...yet. If it weren't so far from my home, I would get a library card (yes, with a CA id, this is possible, and free), and check out some of those great books.

We've always had such great support and customer service. They have great events, wish I could attend all of them on the events calendar. They also usually have the books that we are looking for and placing holds on books doesn't take very long until we get to borrow them. Books are in good condition but you can also tell when a book is well loved, which doesn't bother me at all.

Today I attended a free educational seminar hosted a TVE2 partner, Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce. The topic was Facebook for Business, presented by an outside company, Public Advertising Agency. The seminar was well attended, organized, and very informative. TVE2 is a great resource! The people there were so helpful and went out of their way to het her a license. We ran late because of all the paperwork we needed to do but they still made sure she got her test. The security guard that day was amazing at helping is though the process and after my daughter passed the guard walked all the way over to say congratulations with a big smile. Let's face it no one likes to go to the DMV but the last few times I came to this location they were amazing at what they do and keeping the line moving. Big thanks to these workers and this is for sure my new go to location.

How in the heck can you do this in 20 days? The guy next to me complained too. I think he got some kind of penalty? I don't know. My goodness! Did they want my first born son too? The car was 2017 - how would there still be a note and I have the original copy of the pay off letter. Just plan on being there 3 to 4 times to finally get your car registered in California.

This event presented by the city of Temecula honors its veterans with a bountiful breakfast, various resources, informative presentations, and words of wisdom from council members. It was an enjoyable and very memorable event. I was able to meet Jessica Alexander, who is currently our mayor. This lady has an impressive background. She was a former Marine and fNYPD. I was honored and privileged to meet her. She was warm, friendly, and approachable. We all took a huge group photo to commemorate the day. Thank you to the city of Temecula for a great event!
