After spending a couple hours diagnosing our "dead power" issue, and just talking shop, something that others would give up on and charge outrageous amounts out the door, he took the time to explain the situation, every step to me in detail on top of completely fixing our problem. Our house was built a long time ago so we bought it as is.. he advised some rewiring and re-plating, as well as some fixes we for sure know we will outreach to him on very soon. Really quick an efficient service I had a burned outlet and I had no idea and he replaced it aswell great price aswell.

Chris was right on time when we (family and I) needed him for an unexpected power outage when installing a dryer. He came in the rain and super dark and was able to successfully, turn on the power, and give us a lesson on where the main breaker box is outside of our home. He came back the next day to help install our dryer, which had a short cord, which needed length. Chris worked collaborated well with my family and was able to troubleshoot the issue. I've hired Chris a couple of times to repair ancient wiring at our church. He truly is a very capable troubleshooter. He is extremely thorough and can find the root cause of problems after other electricians have walked away from a trouble repair lost. Electrical 'Whisperer', I don't know, but qualified and gifted as adjectives just don't cover the extent of his experience. Oh, and he is honest and upright towards quoting work, doing just the work needed, and in giving customers the very real rebates found from productivity or better understanding of the work even after starting quoted work at a set price. We had a breaker go out. Wasn't sure if there were issues beyond a bad breaker so reached out to CBE. Chris quick to respond to my service request. He showed up at the exact time he said he would. I do not know how he has a Yelp rating of 4.2, my land lord clearly did not read all the reviews on him. He was hired to install a new electrical panel on our home we rent our land lord. Everything started off fine, then a few weeks back he needed to have access inside to put in some wire I believe it was from where our water heater is under the home. We live by the hospital in an older home and crawl space is very small, I didn't think he would fit but figured he could give it a shot. We have small dogs and one recently had surgery on her leg for a torn ligament so she needs to be kept calm. I advised electrician of this and best days to do work inside is when my husband is off work Monday, Thursday, and Fridays. Says he will be out on a Friday to do this a few weeks ago, never showed up, I let my landlord know he never came by, then next day Saturday around 9 am he texts says he is going to do some work outside will be noisy and will come around 11am, I say ok no problem, never shows up, tell landlord again. Then not last week but week before, I had to go out of state for an emergency so it's just my husband home. Electrician says he will be by to access crawl space, my husband clean everything out of closet, he comes and doesn't fit. He then wants to bring his child in to get under the house another day. We don't hear anything and it's now Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I text asking when he might be out next because all the stuff from closet is still out for him, I say I know it's Thanksgiving so I'm thinking it will be this week, he responded 10am Friday day after Thanksgiving. I'm still out of state, but husband is home so 10am has come and gone, husband texted him at 11 asking if he was still coming by as he thought he was coming at 10, my husband had a Dr appointment later in the day and needed to pick up a prescription. He texts and says did I say 10? I responded in the group message with husband, landlord, and electrician, yes you said 10am if you look at message thread. He says he will be here at 11:45 unless we need to reschedule. I said no that's fine communication is just nice when things like this happen as my family has other things going on. His response was so do I, I won't be coming seems like a conflict of interest good luck! What a joke just because I asked for communication if you're going to be late for an appointment time you provided us with, very unprofessional. read more
