    Nice!

Had a great experience getting fitted for new irons. My old set (which I built) was about 20 yrs old and several iterations behind in technology. Something I learned from Todd during my fitting. He worked with me for over an hour and tried numerous combinations of heads and shafts. He recognized that all the tech was not as important to me as to others. Ended up with a set of Mizuno JPX 973 that fit like a glove!

My husband has been a loyal customer of Chris Cote's for many years, and now we are introducing our children to this business. If you want something done right, this is the place. We purchased clubs for our daughters here, had them custom fitted. Our experience has always been a positive one, we enjoy shopping at the store and appreciate the friendly and very helpful staff. Today we went to pick up a gift we custom ordered for The Ethel Walker Schools Golf team. We received help from designing to completion of the bags and they came out amazing, the colors are perfect, and the girls will be very happy. Thank you very much, and we look forward to our future purchases. You epitomize what a golf shop should be.

    Tour Fitting for Irons

We happened upon the Chris Cote store after volunteering at the Travelers Championship and have made a stop there each year before returning to Boston. We are always impressed by the staff and their 'no pressure' approach. Over the years ee had purchased the occasional used wood and apparel. My son is now a Senior on his Varsity Golf team and we decided that if we were investing in new irons that he should get the Tour Level fitting at the Chris Cote Performance Center. We have always been a Titleist family, but after over 150 swings recorded on Trackman my son was happily leaving with a Mizuno Pro 225 iron set. Originally booked with Kyle, but he was called away a few days before, which was a little worrying, but Kyle reassured us that Randy had taught him everything he knew. Indeed Randy was terrific. Just the right temperament for a young adult male and made the 90 minutes a treat. Can't wait for the clubs to arrive.

They should have taken the $45 and told us that the future price would be higher. No apologies were offered. In fact, the Manager (a lady) was rude and arrogant. She claimed they were the cheapest (false) and best conditioned (false) course in the area. I informed her that we play all over the state and she is neither cheap nor top conditioned course. In fact we used to play there 5-10 times a year before they raised the prices nearly 100% over the last 5 years, and only went there today because the advertised price was more reasonable. The course was nearly empty but it was windy. There was no drinking water or ball washers. Leaves were every where. The carts are sub standard. They use yellow flags on the greens and there is no way to know if the pin is in the front back or middle. I play 100 rounds a year and we used to enjoy this course, and considered it a value and centrally located. I understand their costs have gone up but no more than other courses, Our players come from Milford, Oxford, Burlington, The shore line and eastern CT. We are retired on fixed incomes and look for value so we thought we would take a chance with their new advertised fall rate. The regular summer prices here are exorbitant for a course that is no better than average no matter what the manager thinks.

There were several…read moreholes and worn out spots in many of the greens, autumn leaves abound (guess they don't do spring cleaning), and the putting mats often featured rippled Astra turf which prevented any hope of a clean shot. In many places the fencing was split, worn, and full of splinters and paint chips. The dinos didn't look too happy, some were falling apart! This place must have spent a fortune in signs, but not nothing on the maintenance of the greens. Signs everywhere. Geez, just what evil goes on at this itty bitty golf land anyway that merits signs like "24 hour video monitoring" posted at most of the holes? This place used to be a lot of fun, now it's just boring and too expensive given its condition. Minni golf should be fun- it should be, so go else where.

The…read morecourse was in disarray, ripped greens, rotting wood features, missing stone work between greens and walkways. If I could give this zero stars I would. Complete waste of money. It is hard enough for a 3 and 5 year old on a well maintained course, they had no chance here when you could even hit off the tee because the pads were out of place or not there at all. Bare spots in the greens made it impossible to hit the ball on a straight line. I am very disappointed in the experience I had with my two sons. Do not recommend unless you want to play the worst mini-golf course in the country.

No, sadly, we weren't flown in! However, the parking was superb. We arrived around 8:30 am, proceeded the pro-practice area saw a few favorites of my buddy, as I was still making my list on the fly. I do have to say I wound up favoring my usual underdog, a Scottish chap Martin Laird of Glasgow, Scotland. Starting the day 2 under while the leader Paul Casey was 16 under. Being about 9:00 am the stomachs were grumbling and the food booths were open. Two egg, sausage, and cheese on a croissant and (yes) two Bud Lights a mere $30.00 even. "Say what?" Called out my dwindling wad of cabbage! I was indebted to my friend and this equated nicely. We wandered the remainder of the day seeing a number of the players. Up and down the picturesque rolling hills, halting and whispering when necessary. The course is beautifully designed and maintained. Our morning was cool and cloudy, the afternoon brought sunshine and light humidity. The Travelers, other Sponsors, Organizers, and Volunteers go all out to assure everyone, players and attendees, are well cared for. Such as, numerous Public Facilities, Public Tents with shade, food and beverages, also pricey, unless you have friend/contact with one of the many Corporate Sponsors. All in all, it was a great day. I don't think the golf bug has bitten other than maybe another tournament.

One of my associations had a twilight golf event here and Miner Hills was terrific to deal with, they easily worked with us on the catering and food service. The atmosphere is laid back, as this is very much a course that's welcoming to the general public. It's a Par 30 with six par 3's and three par 4's. Every hole is under 300 yards. However, the par 4 7th is straight uphill and the par 3 before it plays close to 200 yards uphill from the white tees. The course is kept in fairly good condition and there was a crew leaf-blowing when I played there. It's hard to play with a yellow ball and hit into all those leaves! While there are not too many hazards here, most of the fairways and approaches are relatively narrow. There are some small greens too and the slopes can be tough to judge. The prices are fair, but when I saw a deal of $9 for 18 holes and a cart (seriously?!) on GolfNow, I could not pass it up. I believe the rate is usually $21 or so. The cart also had a lot of pep. Probably the fastest cart I've used on any course! I will be coming back here in the future!
