When I picked up the plants with my 83 year old nother my experience with the staff at the time was poor. The people I ran into and spoke with were visibly annoyed and rude. They basically dumped a cart of 3 gallon plants in front of my mother and I inside and walked away. Not even asking me if they could help me load them up. I would not go back based on this.

The selection is extraordinary, and I challenge anyone to try to find another Connecticut nursery that stocks so many unique things, Among the many treasures I found over two blissful hours were a white flowered form of Lobelia cardinalis, a HUGE specimen of Glaucidium palmatum, a blue and white striped form of Gentiana scabra, a special deep yellow clone of Aurinia saxatilis, and Eryngium planum variegata, almost never stocked by nurseries. The prices are reasonable and the specimens are obviously well cared for. Everyone on the staff was helpful and friendly. I'm already plotting a return trip! Can't rave too highly about this magical place. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!!
