When we finally decided on our venue which oversaw the NYC skyline, we meticulously looked for all the vendors to help make our dream wedding come true. As we were on a tight budget, we were hesitant on getting a videographer however were told by SO many of our friends that the biggest regret they had for their weddings was not getting video. Due to this, we started looking all over for videographers that not only captured amazing footage of all aspects of the wedding, and to capture all guests, but also that the video was of high-quality. As time was going by, our options were dwindling as we were not able to find the right videographer for us and we were a few months away from the wedding date. Luckily by some fate of fortune, my good friend whom I was a bridesmaid for said that she LOVED the videographer she had for her wedding. I quickly went and watched her highlight reel and asked if it was costly to have so many videographers, however she said it was only one person. I was SO impressed that one person could produce such a great video (and it was ONLY the highlight reel - I cannot imagine the full length film) that I had to meet with him immediately. Due to that chance of fate, I contacted Scott who was very luckily available on our date. Through email, he was very professional, responsive and answered any concerns we had. For budgeting reasons we were unable to have Scott the whole day to capture getting ready, however we asked if he could come a bit earlier than the ceremony to film a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony for us which he happily agreed. That meant SO MUCH since we really wanted to make sure we were able to capture that for years to come. On the day of the wedding, as we were walking back from First Look photos, we met Scott in person for the first time and he was extremely easy-going and friendly. He also had a video camera that looked like something out of an action movie. Even my nephew ran into it a few times since it looked SO COOL. Throughout the day and night, we thought Scott was just some sort of ninja since he would be at so many places at once. He worked great with our photographer and we just trusted wherever he asked us to look or go. That night, my husband and I could not believe how fast the day went and just looked at each other and said, "SO HAPPY WE BOOKED SCOTT AS VIDEOGRAPHER!!" A couple of days later, we had guests mention if the drone flying around was for us, and that it was really cool that we had aerial shots. Of course, my husband and I just told our friends that it was probably for some other wedding since we had no idea. I was really curious, and asked Scott, who in fact DID have a drone and that it was for OUR wedding. That was a HUGE SURPRISE that I am still baffled by today. We have not yet saw any footage, as our wedding was only a couple of days ago on 9/30, however we are SO EXCITED and will believe it to be nothing short of amazing!!!!! Scott showed up on time, if not early, and made it to all the different locations at precisely the right times (even though they were 20 to 45 minutes a part). He is very personable and worked great with my photographer. He was never in the way, and was able to capture my wedding day from all angles. The film he made for us was perfect, he considered our style and what was important to us. For instance, Scott recognized our love/slight obsession with our dog so he incorporated her in the film beautifully, he also knew that I was very upset about the flowers my florist delivered (I ordered from Floral Expressions in Woodbridge, NJ - I was very very unhappy with the flowers they delivered) so Scott made it a point to exclude a lot of footage of the terrible flowers. He then ignored my calls, texts, and emails asking why he was stealing the rest of our money without providing service. We are extremely disappointed in not only the lack of professionalism, but also the lack of moral decency that this company has. STAY AWAY.

Leandro's photography is great…read more The problem was that he didn't show because I couldn't wire him the money during my rehearsal dinner because Wells Fargo was closed on Saturday Night. I never was given a contract to sign. Just told that I would get a contract when he was paid. Whatever, so I gave him a check and forgetting that he didn't cash it, I removed the account as cash for all the Vendors on the day of the wedding which was Sunday. Who cashes a check on a Saturday? I couldn't put it back so I transferred the money from another account so Leandro could get his payment but the banks were closed and he said "if you don't pay me in 1 hour, i am not showing up!" This was at my rehearsal dinner!!! I ended up with another photographer of three available who took cash at job site. I would love to know if anyone had an event he shot on June 8, 2014 because he left my job to go to yours. If you had no other plans on a Sunday of June 8th, except my Wedding; why would you quit and refuse to take cash at site of event? tell me only pay pal... Then tell me you are going to a Birthday Party? Leandro only paypals, no charge card processor probably because this is his side job and there are fees to charge machines. I just don't paypal because paypal doesn't have credit card protection and they wouldn't refund my money for package that was never delivered but left at my door supposedly. Oh, and he kept my deposit of $600 as a Engagement Photo Fee, which was included as part of the Wedding Shoot Package. This was agreed but only had we not used him for the Wedding; not if he found something better to do and not show up. Bottom line is... Leandro is good photographer so many would wanna use him and there is a chance that he could find other jobs if you book him and wait to pay him last minute.
