If you engage them for their services - try to figure out what types & sizes of photos you are going to want to purchase. Other than being egregiously overpriced upfront, which is generally not a problem during the spending stupor you are in while planning a wedding, you should also know that when the dust settles and you've spent $10k on photos and realize later on that you just want that one additional photo for that wall somewhere.. be prepared to spend $500 - on one photo.. and I don't mean a mural.. a photo!. Even better if you want it digitally, it's a $1000 for a digital copy. A couple of hundred - maybe...$500 no way My advice, if you work with them / and you should look at alternatives - have them take the photos only, buy the digital images and go elsewhere for actual prints and books and such - BUYER BEWARE Hey Studio Photogs - I hope this costs you 100 times the extra $300 (on top of the extra $100) you're making off my 1 photo

We were assigned Reena and Roderick as our main photographer and videographer, and Ben and Tuck as the secondary photographer and videographer. They gave such clear direction to ensure the photos came out the way we wanted. All 4 of them were respectful, professional and very accommodating. We had an extensive list of photo combinations we wanted with the bridal party, our parents, wedding sponsors, and extended family and the Dean Michaels team managed to capture every single moment. I'd ask Reena last minute if we could take pictures at different locations and she would be so accommodating and the photos came out perfect. We are so glad we went with Dean Michaels. It's always tough picking through hundreds of wedding photo companies but my wife and I really liked the style of Dean Michaels which provided a good mix of dramatic and traditional photos without being too over the top. We highly recommend Dean Michaels if you're undecided who to go with for your wedding or any other events!

I was responsible for all the A/V for a dear friend's celebration of life memorial at the Maplewood…read moreCountry Club. Everything had to be PERFECT. Allan Reider Studio completely delivered. I'm a bit Type A with event planning, especially with this one. The venue recommended Allan Reider and I can see why. A couple weeks before the event, I visited the country club to familiarize myself with the space then called him to save the date. While he was friendly and jokey, he was serious and knowledgeable about the details. I was almost finished developing a video slideshow of my friend's life and wanted the final version shown as much as possible at the event to honor his wishes. Allan recommended showing it on loop in one of the rooms near the entry above a fireplace on a plasma TV and in the main banquet hall on a 7-foot screen via projector. This was exactly what I wanted. I dropped off the slideshow on Blu-ray a week before the event then Allan and his crew tested it on multiple players at their studio. A couple of days before the memorial, I received a family member's request for a song to be played during the eulogy. Allan gave me options and recommended the best bang for the buck. The day of the memorial, Allan called and texted me a couple of hours before the start time to assure me that everything was already set and in place. Come showtime- seamless! I didn't have to worry about anything.
