    I read the review from 2013 stating to not use this State Farm branch. While reading this review, I…read morecould see the customer was upset and understand why. But, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that is out of an Agent's control that this customer may not be aware of. But just to be clear and transparent, I do not know or work for this Agent. I have called this Agent's office twice to ask a few questions. I spoke with two ladies in this office and the Agent, Frank. They all were very helpful and kind. I was never asked to write a review as our conversation was strictly professional as I had a few questions for the Agent. When the Agent or staff write a policy, they can sell the policy based on the information you provided on your application. But, if there are things on your insurance history / record that you did not advise of on your application, these things are found when the policy application is sent to Underwriting to process and write. There are specific items that can determine your risk and if that insurer can write your policy. If something on your insurance record comes up once Underwriting receives your application that changes the policy from being able to be written, Underwriting usually sends a letter, and corporate refunds your payment. This does not come from the Agent's office. The Agent and staff are usually not aware of it right away either. They have no control or say over this as well. With this being said, it can take a few weeks to get everything processed and the correct documentation sent to you with your refund as it is all through corporate. I can see where this customer was upset, as she didn't know the process and thought the Agent was maybe behind this. I hope this helps someone reading this. I took the time to write this as I had nothing but great customer service and a pleasant experience with this Agent and his staff. They were highly professional and prompt when helping me. Cheers!
