Vin from Northeast Dryer Vent Cleaning went above and beyond. We had our dryer vent serviced every…read moreyear by another company, and even asked them to install a new vent. Yet, right after that service, something was wrong. The dryer was like a steam shower: hot as can be but no moisture was leaving the machine. I called Vin on a whim to see what he thought (a second opinion never hurts) and he gave a quick guess as to what was going on, gave me a recommendation to rule out issues with the dryer itself, and then came to clean out the vent. Vin is a straight shooter, doesn't try to upsell you. Turns out the vent itself was installed improperly and there was a clog the size of Texas. He brought the proper vent and took hours to dig out the insane clog. There is no way that clog came from just a couple months of use, which tells me that the prior cleaning was not done in full. I'm grateful Vin was able to help us and get us up and running again, without having to buy a new dryer! Now my neighbor wants him to come take a look at hers! We will be going back to him for our maintenance from now on.

However, lately (the last two carpet cleaning experiences) were extremely expensive for the amount of time they spent actually cleaning the rug. They were here for about 20 minutes and it cost me over $160! Also, after the guys left I called the manager. I talked to him about pricing and an incident where one of the workers dropped a piece of equipment on my tile floor, he was rude to me. What a difference. Went from nasty to awsome in less than an hour. Not only did Rex do one heck of a great job, but he took the extra time to make sure that everything was well cared for. He lined my hardwood so it would not get scratched. He put protectors on wall corners so as not to damage paint or corner edges. He put in a door inclosure so that bugs would stay out anf the AC would stay in. I had them do yearly servicing on the boiler for the last three years and then had them repair it in February - March 2026 when there was a problem with very low heat. The problem was not correctly addressed. At no time did they check to determine that most of the water had drained out of the boiler. They said I needed a new aquastat and replaced it but set it to 200 degrees (about 40 degrees higher than needed). When I had a technician from a company that knows how to service boilers look at it, the inside was very dirty (had not been getting regular cleaning, although I had paid for maintenance each fall). He discovered that the water had drained out, that it needed flushing, and has repaired the boiler.
