They found errors or oversights by H&R Block that resulted in a smaller tax return. My new accountant filed for an ammendment and I was sent a check! I saw on the H&R Block website that if they make a mistake, don't get you the maximum refund etc., that your tax preparation is free. I called the office multiple times, left messages on the answering maching and with the "receptionist" but no one ever got back to me. They refused to acknowledge my complaint and provide my refund (about $300). Very unprofessional, will not be returning and will be advising others not to use this H&R Block.
