I called the local GMC dealership,to express my disappointment I spoke with the service mgr, he was very apologetic . lesson learned always check you own fluid levels . this could have ruined my transmission . thank you Jimmy and his team .

2010 Kia Optima LX Indications: My vehicle had a loud,…read morebroken muffler sound. Carbon monoxide fumes entered the cabin. Slight loss of pickup, or torque, and increase in gas usage. I came into Lewis about a week or two ago to get a diagnostic on my car. Service and Part director, Jordan Johnston, ordered a diagnostic done on my vehicle by Henry, the mechanic. Diagnosis: Exhaust manifold needs replaced. Jordan ordered the part, including gaskets. This past Monday, I take my car in to get fixed. Turns out there was a crack in the catalytic converter. Henry skillfully broke off the very rusted gaskets, welded the catalytic converter and installed new gaskets. Lo' and behold, under Jordan's supervision, Henry saved me about $200 on parts, minus the gaskets, and all I had to pay for was mainly labor costs and fees. And he finished in such a TIMELY manner. Thank you Henry for saving me money and time, and Jordan for exceeding expectations on customer service. I don't trust mechanics very easily at all. Jordan made me feel like I could trust him. So thank you. I look forward to bringing more business to Jordan Johnston at Lewis Chevrolet Cadillac.

Was in Garden City and needed a headlight replaced. Had tried to find someone to do it once over…read morethanksgiving weekend and then a couple more times. Everyone was too busy or didn't do that kind of thing. Called these guys like around 2:00pm. Yes we can do that and yes we have time this afternoon. Had a little trouble finding their shop - they are tucked away behind bumper to bumper - same building. Long story short / I was in and out in about 30 minutes and my headlights are NOT easily accessible but the mechanic figured out a short cut and had me out in short order. And their price was very reasonable. If you need some mechanical work I'd say this is the place to go. Also, I had my dogs with me and they graciously allowed me to pull my truck into the bay and wait in the truck while they made the repair. Otherwise the kids would have barked the entire time or I'd have had to stand outside with them. A huge THANK YOU to the staff / you're the best!!!
