As a parent and an educator, I am constantly amazed by CLP's individualized approach and how seamlessly they blend learning with play. Each classroom is filled with engaging student centers. Both of my children have attended CLP and this is our 3rd and last year. It is an excellent school with very caring and supportive staff. Everyone who works at the school knows every child. The growth my children have shown is from the amazing teachers at this school. They show compassion and understanding for EVERY student. I investigated 10 different preschools in this area and CLP had everything we were hoping for and accommodated both of my boys personalities. Not only do/did my boys enjoy the school, but family members get to participate as well. They offer a parent volunteer club once a month, which gives you a chance to participate in fun learning activities with the children. Hands down the best preschool I've ever experienced. All staff are wonderful, and are so caring and considerate of the children. As a parent, they welcomed my family into the Christ Lutheran Family instantly. You can feel the love when you enter the preschool grounds and can see the joy on each of the children's faces. My child had a very bad experience in daycare, so I was very concerned about her starting preschool. Day 1 was a HUGE success and my child literally jumps into preschool in excitement every day she attends now. Chris, the Director of the preschool, is hands on and is always available if you need her. I really like this in a Director. Her commitment to the preschool and children is noticeable. It's also noticeable in every teacher there. They listen to what you have to say, and will do anything to help you. The parents of the other children attending are all lovely. Everyone is so warm and welcoming to each other. It's a beautiful environment all round. The grounds and environment also get a huge tick from us. The moment I walked into this preschool, my Mommy instinct kicked in. I knew this was the place for my boys. The yard was beautiful and offered so many different opportunities for play. My 8 yr old came here to preschool and my 3 year old now attends this school. This is one of my favorite schools in all of Santa Clarita. As a mother, I first walked in this school and experienced loving kindness from the staff. From that time until now, eight years later, the staff have become like family. Family whom I trust with all my heart to take care and enrich my most precious treasures, my children. I have worked in schools all over this valley as a school based occupational therapist for 17 years and Christ Lutheran is one of my top two schools. I work with children with special needs as an occupational therapist and commend this school for embracing this population. CLC is strict with its deadlines for stuff like summer school registration and refunds but it is so that it could properly plan for the amount of staffing. They are fair and just and abide by their policy consistently, which every good school should do. Thank you Christ Lutheran for enriching my children's lives and ours too. My 3 and 5 year olds both attend Christ Lutheran Preschool and we couldn't be happier, I wish we could stay here forever! The teachers are wonderful and you can tell that they really love their school which is one of the things that makes this such a beautiful and special environment to be in. My kids really look forward to going every day. Since attending this school my 3 year old has become a huge chatter box, she is full of interesting stories and facts and is so sure of herself, it is so much fun to watch her grow. The music program is wonderful (my son now wants to play the piano and the trumpet) and the outdoor play area is exceptional. Most days I will arrive to pick them up and end up sitting and waiting as they don't want to leave. There is also a lot of opportunity for parent participation for anyone that is interested, and it is so fun to join in on some of the awesome events the kids get to experience.
