I cannot get enough of the worship, Word of God, and community that is radiating through this church. I have traveled to many different churches and none compare to the love that shines through here. I love that I am able to enjoy the same worship and message online as well when I am out of town. Pleaseeeeee give this church a try if you are in the area!

NORTH CENTRAL CHURCH IS PROFIT OVER PEOPLE. I am deeply…read moreconcerned by the manipulative environment at North Central Church. This is a place that claims to value family, yet their actions are actively dividing families and placing "church rules" above the sanctity of marriage. A close friend and his wife recently faced a heartbreaking ultimatum. When she tried to compromise by attending her husband's church half the time, North Central told her she could no longer serve. It is clear that if they don't have your attention (and your tithes/offerings) 100% of the time, they don't want you. Key Issues: Greed-Driven: It feels less like a ministry and more like a money-making business. Controlling Leadership: They use guilt and manipulation to keep members from supporting other local congregations. A real church should accept everyone, but here, your "worth" is tied to your attendance record and financial output. If you are looking for a supportive, Christ-centered community that respects the bond of marriage, keep looking. This is a greedy, fake church that prioritizes the organization's bottom line over the spiritual well-being of its members. Stay away if you value your family's unity

I like the flasher system whereby they know you're a first time visitor so you can park closer…read more Aside from that however they really need to work on their first time visitor game. The congregation was in Holy Huddle mode and we were the visiting team. I definitely did not feel welcomed here at all. By way of example most other churches will actually walk you to the kids program so you don't get lost and also so they can have someone at the drop off point kinda help your child get acclimated. Here they just tell you which way to go. And of course we got lost. When we eventually got to the kids building we told the adult at the front my kid was a first time visitor and they just said she was in the right place. And that's it. Not even a smile. No hi welcome. I seriously thought about just leaving at that point but I figure since we drove all the way here we'd give them a try. As I left the kid building, the kiddo was just sitting there by herself. And When I picked her up I saw the girls small group she was in had formed a circle of seats with the teacher, but my kid's chair was the only one outside the circle. I asked her what happened and she said they didn't make room for her. It's one thing if you do that kind of stuff to an adult. Another if you do it to a kid. Based on this experience alone I would not entrust my kid to this place again. While I did like the senior pastor's sermon, this church is a hard pass for us. I actually heard someone from this church at my workplace say they're not looking to grow the membership as they got more than they can handle. I actually couldn't believe they said that at first. But now I witnessed this attitude myself at the church. The Frozen Chosen. At the sermon today they said they're big on missions. A bit ironic actually because back at the home church it's like the Great Omission. They should work on their home game first. Get back to the basics and get their house in order before focusing energy on sending folks out of their flock to the rest of the world to do missions. After visiting this church it makes me not want to look anymore. Or at least take a break from looking. I can see why non-Christians would be turned off from Christianity with experiences like we had here. Maybe I'll try again someday. After the bad after taste from this place has dissipated. But that may be a while.

We attended Catholic, Baptist, Methodist and non-denominational churches and we found we kept comparing each church/sermon/feelings from sermon to Woodlands Church and the powerful sermons that Pastor Kerry gives. We love that it is a bible based church and each sermon is loaded with scripture. I feel I can relate to almost every message, which is important so you can use the message within your everyday life. There isn't judgement and everyone is welcome. They have a wonderful children's ministry/childcare divided out by grade: infants, crawlers, walkers, two year olds, three year olds, four year olds, five year olds, K-1, 2-3, 4-5, Junior High and then High School. They have hired staff and volunteers that have to be members and under go a double background check before volunteering with the kiddos. My children are always looking forward to church. They come home singing songs about the Lord and referencing what they learned that week. This is a BIG church. Some people refer to mega churches in a negative aspect. Once you are involved with the church it doesn't feel so big. I volunteer and my husband and I are part of a life group. On any given Sunday we see 10-15 other families that we know. Since it is so big there are many resources available like grief counseling, divorce care, ministries, and life groups. There is also a Texas sized indoor play area for the kiddos, an outdoor playground, a cafe and a trading company store where the sell handmade items from around the world to help individuals break away from poverty. I am very happy with my experience with Woodlands Church.

They just have greeters. And they're nice and all. Just no information about the church except what's online. Also no adult Sunday school here. So don't plan on staying past the hour. The kids program also is just an hour or so and then repeats with the same material as the previous hour. No place to really sit during the service if you don't want to go inside the sanctuary although their bookstore and cafe inside are both nice and do have seats to just chill and surf the net. The one thing that really disappoints me is that I actually tried to join a group. I reached out to the contact listed using the email provided online. And got no response. I know these groups can be volunteer led. And volunteers can be kinda flakey. So I decided to fill out an inquiry about the group on the church's main online platform. I mean that's paid staff monitoring and responding to that. But no response either! Omg. Been over a month of trying and at this point I've just given up. Next!
