Which is the reason I gave this church only three stars. I never thought I would live to see the day. Where a Catholic Church locks its doors in the middle of the day. It shows you what type of world we now live in. When the Catholic Church is afraid to allow the public inside. To pray to our lord and savior. I can't help but to think. How many men and women. Who In a time of need and despair. Desperate to spend some time with Jesus Christ. Attempted to go into St Paul's church. Only to find themselves not welcome. Because the doors were locked. Bishop Zubik, started a campaign a while back. Titled the lights are on for you. Trying to get people to come back to the church. He should have started a campaign. And called it, the doors are open for you. Informing all the faithful that they are welcome in the Catholic Church anytime of day. Not only on Sunday's. I pray the day will come again. Where all Catholic Churches are open 24 hours a day seven days a week. After all a persons faith would grow a lot stronger. If they were allowed to spend time in front of Jesus Christ. God bless.

The members are super friendly and they are great for prayer circles after service if you need a prayer. We've made them our church away from home, so we will definitely be back next summer!

I've been to this church several times and I'm always impressed by how warm and welcoming the…read morecongregation is. The pastor is energetic and talented, so you can count on the sermons as being excellent. The sanctuary is tucked away on a street that is off the beaten path, but it's nestled in a lovely Grove of trees. There's usually plenty of parking, either on the street or in their private lot. There are beautiful stained glass windows, everything is quite picturesque. But the congregation has a heart for mission outside their walls, and you find that expressed in any number of ways. Overall, it's a church with a lot tradition, bit it's open to growing in new ways.

My former hometown church had stained glass that won an international stained glass competition. I studied stained glass in college (art class). So, I like to think I know a bit about this. They have a church Flag Project, and have hung flags representing countries where they have missionaries. I feel nervous to post a review about a house of the Lord (because I feel like it's partially like…read moreranking Jesus ). I'm going to talk about my experience here in hopes maybe it helps someone else. First, I am a member of Triumph. I just officially joined on Easter Sunday, but I had been going while I was dating my husband for a couple of years when I was in town. Triumph was actually one of the reasons we stayed in Pittsburgh when we had the opportunity to move away. It's like a home away from home. There are 2 Sunday services: 8:30 and 10 am. Facility - I like that there is ample parking spaces for all guests. When you arrive there is only one clear and visible place to enter and exit so you won't be flustered on trying to figure out where to go. There are typically greeters at the door. If you have any questions you can ask them. Pastor - Pastor Giles is probably one of the nicest men you will ever meet. And you can tell he is passionate about the Lord. He will be the first to tell you he's not perfect either because he is humble. I enjoy the Word coming from him too. Fellowship - l think the other members of Triumph are very nice and welcoming. In Pittsburgh it can be hard to find friends, and I feel like they welcomed me and took me in. Have you ever been to a church and try to sit somewhere and then someone tells you seats are saved, so you're just flustered trying to find somewhere anywhere to sit? Yeah, this isn't the place for that either. The people are nice. That's what I like . Kid Friendly - I don't have kids, but i wanted to make sure that if (or when) I did they would have a place to grow and learn about Christ. There are a lot of children and they're so cute and seem to get along so well. During church they will call for the kids to go to basically "children's church" so they can learn about God together. I personally like that. I plan on being more active down the line so I can definitely make updates or answer any questions. I'll post a pic or 2 when I go on Sunday.

The…read moreschool was actually three rooms in the Convent's downstairs, and we had dinners in the Convent Basement cooked by ladies of the Parish. I just visited the Church in November when I was visiting friends and Family in the area. I was so saddened to get news today about the fire inside the Church. I am Praying that it will one day be restored.

It's a great place to have a wedding or graduation the Church is really nice inside but I never take pictures inside churches. The only thing is there's not a lot of parking but it's in the middle of a neighborhood so older people don't have far to walk.
