There is a large parking lot adjacent to the temple. We did not go inside but it looked like it was open to the public and special ceremonies are held here. There were people dressed in traditional Indian clothes that looked like they were there to attend an event. They have a huge drive to reach university students while also being very active within their own community, supporting many local organizations. The service was warm and welcoming. Filled with singing, exegetical teaching from the Bible, and time for all to participate in prayer. The facility is clean and well-maintained. Places are labeled so it is easy to find your way to the kids wing or info center, etc. People seem to find friends and community in this place.

I've been blessed with the opportunity to come to this church for over a year and they have been incredibly welcoming to me and my faith. I've been encouraged, challenged and loved through the people God has put into my life at this church. All of who they are represent comes solely from the Bible. The members didn't want to talk to me but instead stalked my Facebook and looked through all my Google reviews and probably other things I don't even know about and came to the conclusion that i was a sinner? (Of course, I'm not perfect) No, i didn't even know 90% of anyone's name in this church. I really wanted to get to know people here, as my family and i are new to Iowa. I couldn't understand why no one would talk to me, despite all my efforts at reaching out. If someone is concerned about a fellow Christian they should come up beside them and let them know. Not gossip about them and sabotage their character. Normally i would not leave such a detailed review of a church but i feel the public should know. The worst church experience ive ever had. If anyone is thinking about attending here, please let them know you are not perfect at the door. I was seriously accused of terrible things by people whom don't even know me. I pray the Lord touches these members hearts and i hope nothing but the best.

It takes a minute to get to know people, but everyone is so nice. Lots of kids, families, retirees. First Sunday of each month, there is usually a fast and testimony meeting where anyone can get up and testify. Not just one preacher, churchgoers can be asked to give mini-sermons at the pulpit too. I love hearing everyone's witness of Jesus Christ.
