I couldn't get it out of my head and just the sense of belonging from my first time there. I can't express in words something that overcomes your body when you are exactly where God wants you to be. It is very welcoming. From past reviews yes the band is amazing! Yes! There is jumping and running and singing and praising all over! (I find it strange that people think thats weird when we all have seen how people go to coachella and behave) We give our tithes and offerings and the pastor may or may not announce it... sometimes he even says we gotta skip this part really quick because God has his own plans. If you want to give you can give on the app... so to previous reviews... im sorry you misunderstood what was happening. I wish you would have spoken to someone to help answer your questions or concerns because thats what i did. I had a lot of questions and concerns.. and you know what... THEY LISTEN. And through being heard I was able to remain silent and listen as well. This church is home. I have been to many churches and none have just been so accepting and welcoming in every way. The youth of the church. They were speaking in tongues. Appointment they were filled with the holy Ghost. But yet sitting in the pews were unzipping their pants. An exposing themself right in the church. When the adults would go to the pastor. Pastor Stratton. We were called to silence.. I can't tell you how many times I was told that he's the godhead. I bet I needed to be silent.. I know this is long but hopefully it'll help someone. I suffer from a condition called. Tourettes syndrome.. they knew that I had treads for the 3 years I attended. 3 years after enduring a lot of mental abuse.. pastor Stratton called me up on stage and made me feel like a complet. Idiot. Him and an evangelist that showed up for church that Sunday. Play prayer cloth over my mouth. It started casting demons out of me right in front of a congregation full. Of people. This church is all about. Control. Definitely taking your money. It's been years. Sad thing is the Bible says if the church. Is bills on the quicksand it will sink. I have seen stories that are nothing but shocking of what happened a few years back. I would take your children and run and go to a different Church.. that's just my humble opinion I was deeply hurt by this church deeply

This community has been a constant source of support, encouragement, and love. What makes Sandals so special isn't just the powerful and relatable messages, but the people. It's a place where you can be yourself, grow in your faith, and connect deeply with others who genuinely care. I owe so much to this church. My nephew absolutely loves the elementary services, they do such a great job making it fun, engaging, and meaningful for kids. And one of the biggest blessings has been seeing my daughter step into serving. Watching her grow in confidence and faith through being part of the team has been incredible. Today was strange. In our search for that 'right' church that 'fits us' we started with two…read moremethodist churches, both were small. The first, had the loudest sound system that blasted music (or noise) throughout San Berdoo. They were rehearsing the music before the service and it was just too loud to stay for. Plus we were told the service started at 9:30. When we got there we were told 10:00 but their service program said 10:30. So we had to wait with that blaring noise. The other, only had one car in the parking lot 1/2 hour before service. So, after Yelping, I picked this church. We had not tried a presby church yet in the I.E., so Yelp helped me pick this one out. With no reviews yet, it was more out of whim and it was the first closets to where we were to make it on time for the service. At first entry, the church felt calm. The service had just started. Good size congregation (almost full). What surprised me was an actual church choir! The interior is surrounded by pretty stained glass windows. With the sunlight outside, it made the colors light up. Oh and lots of white orgami birds which added a nice touch to the place. Reverends Tice and Ledermann gave great sermons and program. The service was great, funny, conservatively entertaining. Just when you think your elderly dad may never find a church in the I.E. that will satisfy him, he actually said, "I like this church. I'd like to come back again" The service was reminiscent of our church back in Canada. The choir and stained glass windows were the deal breaker. I recommend this church fellow Yelpers. Out of all the other methodist or presbyterian churches -- don't bother reading those reviews. This is the place to be.
