Pastor Ed has such a unique background, and teaches from the bible, verse-by-verse, often including stories, videos and photos to provide vivid examples. Very relaxed environment; not formal at all. Amazing worship band, and there's a guest artist every single week. There's plenty of areas to plugin, too. I've gone to the Youngbloods college ministry a couple of times. In addition, there's a cafe and bookstore onsite where you can watch the service on a monitor as well. If you're looking for a church in the area, I'd highly recommend! read more

I would give a 5 star rating but honestly I'm disappointed in the change of the church. I grew up attending this church and loved it. However, I really dislike politics and conservative agenda being pushed into religion. I don't feel like he was speaking Gods true word, I'd like something to be done about that. We must separate church from state! read more

We came here today looking for a new church in the area as I had recently came back to the area due to work. As a believer I found the service to be discomforting. I go to church to feel the comfort of the word to be in god presence as he has carried me through the most painful moments of my life. I was looking for excitement and confidence I did not feel any of this. The pastor incorporated his scientific beliefs as well as sharing bad news about violence that was happening that quite frankly if I wanted to start of my day with negativity I could have just turned on the television. He's sitting down the whole time how can you get people excited as a pastor and be sitting down? I mean come on. When I came to this church 13 years ago if you weren't in 15 mins prior to service good luck finding a seat because everyone LOVED this church what happened? The praise and worship had more excitement today and feeling to it than the service... I pray god brightens everything in this church. It's a hard pass for us though. read more

I honestly wish I lived a little closer, but it's worth the drive for me to get here occasionally. Wednesday nights are alright, but the best is Sundays when you can really get into The Word. I have been attending The Packinghouse Redlands for a few years now. I discovered this church when they started airing in the morning on KKLA. I was looking for a Bible teaching church and I started attending. I love the Christ-centered, Bible teaching focus if this ministry. The worship service is wonderful and I feel accepted and comfortable here although I really don't know many congregation members because I travel quite far to attend service. Pastor Ed and the ministerial staff are faithful and kept the church open teaching the Word of God and serving God's people even during the height of the COVID pandemic, whether it meant online services, outdoor services or eventually the return if indoor services. God bless this congregation of Christian servants. I recommend this church to anyone that just wants to worship Jesus Christ, learn the Word of God, and enjoy fellowship with a great congregation of people. read more

My husband and I paid $8,000 to attend the tour of Isreal trip April 2020. Understandably, the trip was canceled due to COV-19 and was rescheduled for 2021. I was advised that once the dates were rescheduled and the dates did not work for us we would be able to request a refund. When we completed this action we were told that the airfare would not be refunded (per Bill at Inspired travel). We contacted the church and was given the run around that there was nothing they could do. When my wife requested the air line name and number she was advised that they would not provide this as it was a group travel rate!!!! As new believers we did not expect to be treated in this manner from a Christian organization! read more

We have attended the Packinghouse (Calvary Chapel) Redlands for 20 years, we love how Pastor Ed Rae Teaches through the Bible, making it so very clear to all. We enjoy the live broadcast as we are seniors and cannot always make it too the service. We love the broadcast because we like the songs, guest singers, announcements, prayers too! Guest speakers are great while Pastor is on vacation. read more

This is my favorite and first choice church, my home church. I been coming for 15 years on and off. Since I was a kid, we lived in the area so we would come regularly. Than we Moved about an hour away. Didn't stop my mom from gathering us up 3 times a week to bring us here. My mom loved coming here, and I can see why as an adult. Pastor Ed is the main reason why I keep going back. Personally love the way he teaches, sticks to the Bible. The people are very welcoming and friendly. Their restrooms are always clean and pretty, I peaked in the men's restroom before and they have an engine in there. It's very nice. The book store/coffee shop is great. So overall I believe this place is great, again I been coming continuously for the past 6 years and I'll continue coming. If you want to try a new church or looking for one. I highly recommend this one. Pastor Ed even likes to play with the band. Very cool. And they always have events for kids and concerts, it's a great way to connect with other Christians. read more

If you are looking for a bible-based church in the valley I highly recommend Packinghouse. Pastor Ed who is the lead pastor here is a man of God and I am blessed to know this church. Very welcoming and not judgmental. Emphasizing on Christ, Grace and I personally am spiritually blessed through the messages and attending weekly events at this church. In response to Elmar H's review, I have been attending this church for 8 years now. There is always someone welcoming you into the service, handing you a church bulletin. Perhaps you came in later or through a side entrance. I come alone because my spouse does not wish to attend but I never feel lonely. The teaching is excellent, as is the music. I would encourage Elmar to give it another try. I have been to many churches in my life and this one is the most laid back. They don't care what you wear or what you look like, they care about the Lord, which is how it should be. Hurray for Pastor Ed and everyone else at this terrific church. read more

I moved to the Redlands area several years ago, leaving a wonderful church behind. I was sad to leave and it took me a while to find another church. I tried many churches in the local area, but I fell in love with the family at Packinghouse. Some people connect with God through prayer, worship, or teachings. I connect mainly through worship, although Pastor Ed and Greg make it so fun to connect during their teachings. Having a skeptic/science background, I can relate to their lectures that pull from physics and biological sciences. It's refreshing to hear a converted Atheist speak of God's love while backing it with science. In addition, the musicians at Packinghouse are incredibly gifted and relational. Their located several miles from a major Christian radio station, so we are lucky to have major musicians play on occasion. There are tons of small groups to get involved with, look no further! read more
