No compassion, not equipped to handle children who are adhd, add, or learn different than other…read morekids. The teachers tell all your personal business to other parents. They lack communication and problem solving! Their resolution is to call you everyday to go pick your kid up. This school is definitely about the money only and leaving kids by the wayside! I would never recommend this school! They leave kids crying by themselves and say oh he's having another day eye roll walk away from child. They nickel and dime you all year, school supplies, lunches, parties, snacks. All the tuition they provide NOTHING for your child!! If you want fake Christians to gaslight you enroll. If you are in the "in crowd" your kid will get beyond great treatment. The moment you question bruises and scratch marks on your child be prepared to be gaslit and put in the "annoying crowd" they don't acknowledge you unless it's for money!! Run run run the staff in upper management don't even bother calling you back. After emails voicemails text etc. just ignore you!! My child is now in therapy due to the unknown treatment from his teacher! So sad!!! They tell their students and the "cool parents" they cater to, to write 5 star reviews!! if you have all kinds of money to blow onto tuition for your child learning nothing and your child just being another number by all means enroll today if you care about your child's mental health, don't go anywhere near the school!!!

Do NOT send your kids this school. I made the mistake of WASTING my money for this private school,…read morejust for the staff and administration to treat my child (and many other kids) as if they were money bags. As ironic as it sounds, they don't care for the children's education. They have rude secretaries who act as if you're bothering their day when you call. They loosely throw around the fact that they "love" the children when in reality, they love the money they make off of the kids. Those people who run the school are NOT truly saved. Shame on them. I never took my kid out of a school so fast. This is a sorry excuse for a Christian school

NCCL teachers are so loving and nurturing to our children and supportive to parents as well. I'm so…read moregrateful they are a part of our families' lives and a role model of compassion and positivity. Before we even had children, we knew we wanted a creative and compassionate environment for our children as they grew up. A place where their self-esteem and self-efficacy would bloom. We've found that and more at NCCL. It is such a wonderful community, and we are so appreciative to be a part of it! I do not know the specifics of the negative review below, but the school is small (10 kids per grade level) and does not have the resources of larger schools. I can only speculate that would be why outside help was encouraged for any behavioral issues.

The learning is fun, interactive, and centered around the abilities of the students, and the hands-on methods of teaching allowed me to understand and apply concepts to real-life situations. I never had to ask myself "Why does this matter?" The teachers there were/are like parents to me, and I knew that I could always come to them with any struggles I might be having, emotionally or academically. The environment is safe and nonjudgemental; my NCCL family has truly shaped me as a person. Although I have had struggles with anxiety since an early age, the staff has always cared for and supported me in even my loftiest goals. When I was in eighth grade, I told my writing teacher, Kate, that I wanted to write a novel by the end of the year, and with her help and constant reinforcement, I completed it. Now, I am an English major with a Writing Concentration at Gettysburg College (minors in Literature and Studio Art). I had a 4.5 GPA throughout high school, and I now have a 4.2 GPA in college. I am a published author, journalist, and artist, as well as the editor for our on-campus literary and art magazine. None of this would have been possible without the support and aid of the teachers at NCCL, who encouraged me to think deeply, and pursue my interests doggedly. NCCL is the most accepting community that I have ever had the privilege of entering, and the staff works hard to accommodate students and families. They have plentiful compassion and experience when it comes to working with children with learning disabilities, and the environment of the school itself is welcoming and supportive to all. This school is a family, and I was so lucky to be a part of it. I will be forever grateful for my time at NCCL.

DVCS has been a blessing for our family. My children were hesitant to begin a new school this year…read morebut they quickly came to thoroughly enjoy their time at school. This year our house has been full of the songs they've learned, songs full of grammar, history, geography, Latin and beautiful songs of praise to God. I have learned so much just by listening to them sing. There were challenges but the teachers and student resource office were right there to support and encourage when it was needed. This is an education full of the good, true, and beautiful. You will wish you could go back to school with your kids.

My husband pointed out this church saying he was baptized there when he was young. I remember hearing there was a school in the church so I looked into it. They offered a very detailed tour in the middle of a school day so you see exactly what you are getting!!! They let your child shadow another student for a day so my son got to attend class with his age group and wanted to switch schools that day. They tested him for placement and held a meeting with us before we made our decision and this school truly partners with you. Admission has been so amazing thanks to Sherri. She is a gem and I adore her so much. Very excited about what this school has to offer.
