Take the five stars and double them, then double…read morethem again for each, Dr. Camilla and Dr. Georgie -- the most particularly awesome wife/husband practice in the history of EVER! WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW... The pair of doctors are both thorough, they are very happy to answer questions (as well as their PA's) without parents feeling they are being talked down to. The practice is accommodating and when needed, will answer calls. Everyone makes children feel comfortable... which trust me makes a HUGE difference. Believe it or not, most pediatricians don't do that anymore. They really made our family feel that they had an extra special interest in our kiddo -- it was so many little things and in so many little ways. The doctors take the idea of 'family practice' and run with it. They get the gestalt of what pediatric practice used to be and has been forgotten. Here is an example, more than once Dr. Georgie has called us at home to follow up on our daughter. Ok, so you say a return call, and that has happened, but one thing was remarkable. Our daughter had a fall at her school playground and had a radial sublimation of her right elbow (nursemaid's elbow). He saw our daughter in an emergency and brought his concern, gentleness and thoughts on what to do to the table. Unfortunately, he could not do the reduction successfully (sometimes that happens -- zero fault to any practitioner who can't in those circumstances). He said it would likely resolve itself whilst our daughter slept (as is common). I didn't ask him to call to follow up, later that evening, he did it on his own volition, he really wanted to know how she was. He also reached out to the former Pediatrics Chief of Department at Mount Sinai (in private practice) to see our daughter (even that doctor failed in the reduction) but by the following day, all was well. Those actions have set the bar impossibly high for other practitioners. Now to Dr. Camilla, I may be touching on her second here, but we primarily saw her most often. As great as Dr. Georgie was, Dr. Camilla is first in our minds. We were referred to the practice from a friend when we came back to NYC after living abroad (and with new child in tow). Her professional wisdom set is phenomenal and she is very telegraphic in her concerns. Here is what is best, she knows how to connect to both parents individually to make sure they understand both details and the big picture. Now a word on their PA's (physician's assistants), we saw two different ones in our time there. They too displayed the same attributes as both doctors. No doubt they were selected for their temperament and skill. On those times we saw them, we didn't feel as if we were getting less quality care, it was exactly the same. And the nurses and office staff... ditto there as well. You can't top the doctors. I don't believe it possible. Had their second practice not closed due to Mount Sinai Hospital taking over their Manhattan space due to COVID-19, my daughter would still be in their care. We have moved to Westchester County... if they have an office back in Manhattan, we would bring our kiddo in (as we do for her current pediatrician (a great practice... but nowhere as good on the spectrum). I really hope this review helps parents to select a pediatric practice. I don't write many reviews, but this one is more than merited. If you live in Manhattan, consider taking the trip to Sunnyside, Queens and using urgent care if you need to for those issues that can not wait. And for both doctors, PA's, nurses and staff, we can never thank you enough (and curse you at the same time for not letting us achieve another pediatric practice anywhere close to what you have created) -- the Craig family

I appreciated his patience and time he gave me to calm down about the situation. When I was last there, pre-COVID, I noticed they replaced the dirty chairs. It seems my first review upset some people, and I never once questioned the doctors, my complaint was with the filthy office chairs (they've been replaced), and the ridiculous wait time. The PA was always lovely, but you were never told if you were seeing her or Dr when you made an appointment. I have never found the nurses or front desk staff to be rude, as another commenter said, they have always been friendly and helpful. I hope the commenter who didn't like the secretary updates their review ;)

I know it's COVID and all and uncertain times but I scheduled an appointment twice for it not to have been recorded on the appointment calendar. Today I am coming back from the office after have take hours off from work to come all the way to forest hills, fight traffic, finding parking to find that the incompetent employee never scheduled me in! I called multiple times to just make sure that the appointment was there and no one had picked up. I am also very hangry as I had been fasting thinking I will get a blood test. I am done with this and wasting my precious time on nonexistent appointments. I do not recommend the office and I will be finding a more competent and more up to date office.

The front office is also pretty good when you call for information. They also take NYS CHP insurance. Don't park at the mall since you might get towed however there are a decent amount of street parking within a 3 block radius. The entrance is right at the bus stop so do not drive into any of the parking lots! Stop right at the bus stop and you will see a path from the sidewalk to the side of the apartment building. There is a small sign by the sidewalk so it can be easy to miss.

The one thing I don't like is that I've waited 3 hours to see her. She's a good doctor, so she's busy. I recently only had to wait about 45 minutes to see her, I think that was close to a record for short wait to see her. One time she did squeeze me in at the end of a day when I was sick and she risked driving home on a slick night, she was afraid of black ice. So I appreciated her going out of her way. I have called her service and she has returned my calls. When I was getting life insurance she wanted more than the insurance wanted to pay for my health records, so I had to request a copy of my own medical report, and had to pay minimal fee for copying charges, and give it to the life insurance company, which I didn't appreciate. She also specializes in pulmonary medicine, but I only use her as a general practitioner. She's very personable, I would say I've actually gotten to know her over the past 15 years and she me. Maybe that's me, I'm also curious about people, so I ask her questions about herself. But she's fairly friendly I would say. She paints many of the painting in her office. Her secretary Angie is very nice and helpful. They are good people person in a world where people are too impatient often. And thus the long wait to see her. But I recommend her.

But the medical assistant told me they didn't receive so I had to have it re-sent and then give a full history. The nurse then came in, didn't make eye contact and didn't listen well. Then the doctor came in and was abrupt with the nurse. The visit was disorganized, fragmented, and rushed. The doctor did prescribe medications but nobody reviewed side effects with me. I was concerned so I reached out and left several text messages but never received any response. I am a nurse myself and I always contact patients within 1-2 days of their call or message and we too are a busy practice. I was very concerned about some of the side effects of one of the medications and really wanted to speak with the doctor or at least have some response! So even though I found the doctor to be caring and down to earth, I must say I am really disappointed that nobody got back to me after a full week and I am still waiting.

I had my 2nd visit to Dr. Tseng today and I could say that Dr. Tseng is one of the most patient…read moredoctors I have ever seen in my whole life! Her contact information came out when I did the specialist search through my health insurance provider and I was able to make an appointment to see her very quickly for my first visit. She was affiliated with NYU, so she was able to pull up all my medical records with NYU through her system. She reviewed my medical records with me to ensure she had a complete pictures of my medical situation. She also checked and tested all my joints very carefully to identity any potential issues. She then decided to prescribe a medication to me to treat my condition and she clearly explained all the possible side effects of the medication. Instead of just sending me a prescription, she explained to me why she chose this particular medication over the other alternative options. She also provided me information about the co-pay assistance program that was available to this specific medication to reduce my out-of-pocket cost. Lastly, she wanted me to do x-ray imaging on certain areas of my body and blood work. She was nice enough to call me to discuss the blood work result and imaging result a few days after the lab. Normally other doctors would just hold the results till my next visit, but Dr. Tseng called me to go over the results even though everything came out good. Dr. Tseng is very caring, professional, knowledgeable and patient. By the way, her office manager (Ms. May) is very nice and helpful! My health insurance provider required pro-approval for the medication and there were lots of back and forth between the insurance, specialty pharmacy and Dr. Tseng's office, but Ms. May handled it very well and I received the prescribed medication in a reasonable time. Strongly recommend this doctor's office! Great people!
