Driven past here many times but this was the first time I was able to stop during store hours…read more They have a myriad of items from collectibles to furniture (including outdoor furniture). This is one of the few such shops that I have visited that truly has a great balance between contents; not too much of any one type of item but enough of all items. I found their prices to be reasonable and their merchandise to be in good condition. The store itself is arranged well and is not cluttered. There are 3 floors and I didn't see an elevator so fyi on that. I read the other reviews and I will say that when I entered the shop, the gentleman in the front did not address me or even look up for that matter. I did greet him but he did not respond nor did he acknowledge my presence. Instead of jumping to a negative conclusion, I assumed that perhaps he couldn't hear well and went about my shopping. There was a lady in the store as well who was working on a piece of furniture. She seemed kind and she and I exchanged pleasantries. The only note I would make about a shopkeeper failing to acknowledge and make a shopper feel welcome is that it truly does make it less likely that the shopper will ask questions; especially if they are on the fence about an item. Such was the case for me today. However, it didn't effect my opinion of the shop overall and it will not keep me from coming back. Other notable points: wide range of items from vintage to what appeared to be newer items in the Chippy Cottage section. Good selection of vintage/antique tools, primitive furnishings, dinnerware, lighting, unique pieces, ironwork, collectible glassware, and so much more. This is most definitely a place you should visit if you are looking for well selected, well kempt, and reasonably priced vintage and primitive finds. Like I said, I will be back!

However, it was the most local florist to where I wanted flowers sent, so I selected a local florist. Like many flower shops, the website was pretty awful and unhelpful to navigate, but I selected a basket of flowers and paid through the website. Afterwards, I received a pop-up saying I needed to physically call the store to complete the transaction. Well, this basically defeats the entire purpose of using an online system, but 'gotcha!'- there was little choice now that I had already paid for my delivery. The person who picked up told me that she would make a beautiful basket but it wouldn't look exactly like the one in the picture. I said that was fine, but could she send me a picture so that I could see what was sent. She also wanted the code on the back of my credit card, which I had already input online. Next day, I received a voicemail asking for me to call the store again- she had forgotten the code from my card. No big deal - this could happen to anyone - but then I asked when I would get the email with the photo, and she told me she had neglected to take a photo. The person I sent flowers to is unable to send me a picture and is in very poor health. Therefore, I'll never know what I sent- the size, the look, nothing. I was pretty annoyed on the phone, because it seems outrageous to never see what I purchased. I plan to send flowers regularly, so not sure if I will call this florist again. On thinking about it later, I wonder if most of the orders that come in are people from afar who also wants pictures sent in. I am surprised pictures are not taken just as proof, and also to know what was last sent to a client, but I guess without a system for doing this, it could take a lot of extra time to take coordinate taking and sending out photos. However, I wish I had a photo to add to this review!
