I was giving a shot of what I assume to be water. It had no effect what so ever. It was done by his PA. I think PAs go to school for maybe 4 yrs. I would of rather had an NP. I think it's important if you give a cortisone shot it needs to be done by the DR. No follow up phone call. No nothing. Worst treatment ever. Hope you choke on your money!!!?

But enough about that. Regardless of my injury, they always see me the same day or next day. Dr. Saenz is always awesome. He gives you the best option for treatment and a couple of others for stubborn, hardheaded people who refuse to slow down like me. Believe me, if it calls for a shot, SUCK IT UP and take the shot! My biggest issue in the past was the parking. They were located in the doctors building at St Francis in Bartlett. Now they have a fantastic new facility across the street from the hospital. The appointment was very quick and I was expecting the Dr to come back in and he did not. His assistant came in with the prescription he mentioned which had a side effect of damage to the liver. There was little wait time, staff was friendly and efficient, and the doctor had a nice bedside manner. I was in and out in about an hour. EMG testing was uncomfortable but not painful and the needles were like acupuncture needles and I couldn't even feel them. If you're nervous about this, don't be. It's just a strange experience and it's over soon enough.
