The first visit I was greeted by Lauren who made this entire experience as pleasant as a dentist visit could be. They accommodated my anxiety and put me in the larger room to make me feel less claustrophobic. Lauren made sure to tell me every single thing that was about to be done or if something would be loud or vibrate. Dr. Metcalf was friendly and professional along with listening to my concerns about having a higher tolerance to numbing. Lauren was very personable and did everything in her power to make sure I was comfortable including handing me a stress ball so I didn't fidget or confirming it was okay for me to listen to music during the procedure. A bonus is their savings club program if you do not have insurance, this program helped me with the cost and made it so I could afford getting my teeth cleaned twice a year. When we first met with them, they said that they did accept our insurance and our portion would only be $350, which I paid in good faith trusting their word. Two weeks later, I get a bill for over $1,000 because the insurance denied the claim. I called my insurance company and found out that they were 'not in our network" and that was about all I could get out of them. So, I called Stillwater Endodontics to see if they would be willing to work with me since they stated that our portion was only going to be $350. NOPE! They stated that I should have looked into the insurance for myself, and they were not willing to reduce the amount and not willing to accept any payments lower than $100 a month, which I currently can't afford. If they would have told me our portion might be anywhere from $350 to $1,400 depending on if our insurance covered it from the start, I would have looked at other options. But they didn't and obviously won't until you owe them. So, please, do yourself a favor and make sure you get everything in writing from them with an absolute final total of your portion -not estimate- and have them sign it before these swindlers even charge you one penny.

The comparison to the two I had had done by dentists was mind blowing. In the previous instances there was discomfort in 1 and in the other they appeared to have injected anesthesia into a nerve that left a portion of my tongue and mouth numb for months. Neither problem happened with Eugenia, it was completely painless and everything was back to normal a by the end of the day. If I ever need another root canal this is who I want to do it.
