After my left leg was crushed between two cars, I was referred to him by the hospital that treated me. That was the best thing the hospital could have done for me. Dr. Huang is very knowledgeable, and helped me understand exactly what was wrong with my leg, and how we were going to fix it. He is also very concise and quick with how he explains things, which I appreciate a lot. His office staff are also very kind, and seemingly eager to help you with anything you need. All in all, between Dr. Huang himself and his office staff, it's truly a pleasant experience to be treated by this Dr. I feel comfortable putting my care in his hands, which is very rare for me. Dr. Huang has done all he can to keep me comfortable, and informed of my condition. Perhaps I haven't had very good doctors before, but it feels as though he really goes the extra mile to help his patients. When the employee mentioned there would be a Covid test that day, I mentioned I had had Covid several weeks prior, and also tested negative several weeks prior. The hospital has a policy you must be Covid free for seven weeks prior to surgery. While I respect this policy, not once was I informed at any point in time. Not at the appointment with my surgeon, not in the pre-op packet, NO WHERE. I had made arrangements prior to my surgery that were now pointless. I had taken time off work and family members had taken time off work to care for me during my recovery. I sincerely hope this does not happen to another patient because the lack of communication is ridiculous.

He gave me his 24 hour number if I needed anything, and sent me home. Follow ups were always within a week to remove staples, drains, etc. he ask a lot of questions to make sure your healing right and that there is no infection. He also is always playful with our son who sometimes has to come along. The only downside is he does surgery and sees patients in office, so you may have a wait if he has an emergency. But all and all his team and his practice are amazingly. He's my surgeon until he retires.
