About 10 years ago, my husband and I embarked on our first major renovation project and, while we had some knowledgable helper bees, we did a whole lot of painting. The thing about it is, for 10 years, I thought, "yeah, we did a pretty darn good job on this paint job."
We recently moved to a townhouse that, put kindly, needed some LOVE. The first order of business was new floors and fresh paint. the Chromatics Crew came highly recommended by some trusted friends and so I called for a quote (or wrote, because who calls people?)
Few reasons for five stars leading up to the big day:
1. Fair price - Her quote was reasonable and easy to understand.
2. Quick response - Even though she's maaad busy, her responsiveness was on point... and I had questions!
3. Reasonable timelines (that turned out to be 100% accurate.
Few reasons for five stars on the work performed:
1. Thoughtful about what stays and what goes - So she rolls in to the townhouse and gets to work and I immediately appreciate her thoughtfulness in terms of what we might want to do with certain elements.
2. Like gumby, they were flexible: When I needed to expand the scope? She was able to help us achieve our goals. Incredibly helpful with material selection and execution, too.
3. But here's the real kicker: We THOUGHT we were decent painters. Then you see what the pros do and you're like, "WOW!" I went back to our well done apartment and looked at my cut lines and realized that I would probably never NOT hire painters again, specifically, Chromatics.
