I got a helix piercing here in 2022. It was pierced using a hoop, which is recommended against. The piercing also was at an incorrect angle. After 2.5 years of having it, I finally had to take it out on the recommendation of 2 other piercers because it never healed and was still painful to put pressure on after so long. The piercer also did not communicate at all during the process. He never explained what he was doing or gave any hygiene suggestions. I highly recommend choosing a different shop for your piercings. read more

I got my bellybutton pierced there and 3 days later the ball falls off. went to another piercer to have it looked at and they were not able to put it back in because chrome halo did not pierce it correctly. he pierced to much skin that it was getting sucked into my belly and the bar was not visible so therefore I could not clean it well. so now I'm having to wait for it to heal and am going to have to have it pierced again the right way. Stopped in and was able to snag a walk-in the following day at last call (8:30p) with Jayne. Brandon and Alli were fabulous to work with in welcoming me and helping work me into the busy schedule there. I had heard by word of mouth that I should check out Chrome Halo. I was a little nervous going to a shop I hadn't been to before to get my 3rd and 4th tattoos but the shop I got my first two had gone downhill so I wanted to give it a try. I can't say how glad I am that I did!! First impression, the place is very clean but and the girl behind the front desk was extremely nice and helpful to everyone who walked in (later found out it was her second day!). She got me pricing for both my tattoo ideas and we found out we'd have to come back a little later because everyone was busy, but it was only a 3 hour wait so we went out to eat. We also took care of payment and paperwork up front which was nice because it was done and over with. The two hours it took to complete my tattoos was a lot of fun and a little bit of pain. Alli was nothing short of amazing because not only did she pay an incredible amount of attention to what she was doing, she also was really nice and talked to me to help keep me relaxed. Everyone in the shop was really great, and it's easy to tell that they really enjoy what they do. My sister got two tattoos from Jaynie and they turned out beautiful and said she was as quick and painless as she could be while doing a great job! I'll be going back here from now on, it is an hour away from my house but it is well worth the trip. Thanks again ladies for making our tattoos and our night wonderful! read more

I absolutely love this place! I have been going to David and Jayne for almost 12 years now. When i first went to them they were at Ink Gallery Nashville, then opened Chrome Halo and moved to Franklin. Now(YAY!) they have found a home in Murfreesboro. I will never go to anyone else for a tattoo or piercing. David pierced my nose and did two of my tattoos (Portraits of my kids when they are babies along with their names) and Jayne three of my others ones (butterfly on my ankle, infinite love on my foot, and a chinese symbol on my neck) They keep their shop spotless! They are sociable, they talk to you and make sure you are ok through the tattoo. They make sure that your vision and their vision are the same and THEY DONT RIP YOU OFF! I was quoted almost double what they charge at other local shops. They are quick and awesome! They dont charge you by the hour, which makes other people tattoo slower so they can rack up that $$$. You can go to their website and submit the art you want they will contact you back pretty fast to let you know about how much it will cost. I will NEVER go to another place except here. I trust them 100% and that means a lot! If they can fit you in right then and there they will but I would suggest making an appointment. read more

Came here for a simple crescent moon tattoo with my friend. I was honestly a little worried about the pain because I decided to have it done on my sternum. We went in and were greeted by the lady at the front desk who was very friendly and helpful. We figured out prices and exact details. Our artist was Janie and I cannot give enough praise. I honestly felt very minimal pain and as she finished it up I felt next to nothing. She was very friendly and helped keep the atmosphere friendly. This is a good place to get a piercing. The lady at the front desk is super nice. The man who pierced my nose and stomach talked me through what he was doing so I know what to expect. He might seem rude to others but I feel he's just quiet and here to just do his job. The people who complain on here are the ones who never shut up and get mad when he rarely responds. Let him do his job and get on to the next person. I also like the fact that they only take walk ins because if I had to set a appointment, I probably would have chickened out. The piercing was terrible. my friends and family all say the piercing is horrific and she did it wrong. My ear was hurting and so swollen I decided to take out the piercing. The girl had absolutely no experience. The after care instructions were not specific enough. They just told me to get soap. Took almost 1 hour just to get my ears pierced. When I posted a review on google the owner said "did you even go to the shop?" They took my money told me to come back in 10 days and they would e mail me the design I requested. I never got the email so I called back after 14 days and they had nothing for me. I waited another 7 day and went back, I was told that my assigned artist, which I had never met was not there and again they and nothing for me. All I had asked for was 6 words in basic cursive writing. NOT HARD! Frustrated I asked for my money back since I had never received any services and was told NO REFUNDS!! I'm not happy with their business ethics at all, went to get a tattoo on a Friday night they ended up being busy for rest of the night I should have took that as a sign.. I made an appt for the following Monday. The resepsationist was nice to help I had asked for letter that I had to look up but when I pulled my phone out to look it up she reassured me she knew the lettering and I had no need to look it up I shouldn't have trusted her, thinking everything was right I got the tattoo a week later I looked it up and the lettering was wrong... I expected them to fix it or cover it up at no charge yea right she discounted me $50! After I went through all this I was told NEVER go to chrome halo and that was from a few different tattoo parlors around the Boro, too late you would think that if they messed up a tattoo they would take full responsibility for it Nope they put the blame on me, I will never go there again and never recommend them I will go to another shop that will fix their mistake. read more

Went to get a custom tattoo done. Gave them my thoughts and they came up with a concept. They had a month to get this tattoo implemented and tattooed. I ended up having to go in a month later for them to tell me they couldn't do it except for on an allotted schedule date. Problem is their allotted dates are days I had told them wouldn't work past the 27th of July. Had told them this when I first went. May make great concepts but their customer service is horrible. read more
