Aaron pierced me and he was awesome! Very nice and knowledgeable. It was my first time getting pierced professionally (all others had been at Claire's) and he definitely made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and explained the entire process thoroughly. The piercing was quick and efficient. I'd heard from friends that Icon was great, but kind of more expensive. I was willing to pay more to make sure it was done right and that the person doing it would be friendly and patient (I'd read lots of reviews and heard about people being kind of rude at a few other places in Murfreeesboro). That being said it did seem a little expensive compared to other places I called, like Straight Edge and Chrome. Worth it for me, but just be aware. They do take walk-ins. I called ahead to make sure and was told that they close at 10pm, but last call for walk-ins at 8:30pm. There was no wait when I went in around 7. Overall, great experience and I plan on returning for any future piercings! Definitely recommend them! read more

I came here today to get my lower lip pierced and found a really nice looking place and an even more welcoming staff. There were a few technical problems at first due to my being a minor and not in the States with my biological parents but Aaron was really understanding the whole time and tried to be as patient and smiling as he could even though he had another customer waiting in line and I was obviously taking more time than his regular piercees. He showed a lot of responsibility and even discussed about what the law restrictions about my case were with his colleagues before actually "accepting me" as a customer. All the workers tried their best to make the atmosphere relaxed and reassuring and answered all my possible questions even though procedures between the US and my home country are different so there were some things I just had no idea about. They were all extremely friendly and nice even to my friends and guardian even though they weren't getting any piercing or tattoos. I just took my 7-year-old daughter to Icon to have her ears pierced. I can't praise them enough. Their piercings are all stainless steel or titanium, and all the needles and even her jewelry was sterilized before the procedure. He cleaned her ears with alcohol and betadine before he pierced them, and told her exactly what he was going to do before he did it. He also explained how to care for the piercings to prevent infection and irritation. My daughter had a great experience. I highly recommend Icon. read more

I'll keep this simple. HORRIBLE business practice. I got my ears pierced there two years ago and the other week I lost one of my hoops. Knowing that I could hit the mall around the corner and scoop an earring for half the price, I decided to take my money to the place that did the work and support them. I picked up the new swag around lunch, went home, and out of crazy coincidence FOUND my lost hoop.. I immediately headed back with my UNOPENED package, completely SEALED, and Icon refused to give me my money back. REALLY? Brand new.. unopened.. WITH receipt.. less than 2 hours ago????? How can you be a business designed to suit the customer and then have a worse policy than Walmart? I felt like the first white man dealing with the Indians. I'm very upset at this place. I've gone in several times to buy jewelry or have jewelry taken out or put back in. The hours of operation are 1 to 9. Don't ever get there at 1 because I've done that several times and there's no one there that can help you. I even asked the guy that was there to call him and see how long he would be, hoping that I would have time to hang around and he told me no. Very unprofessional!! I understand people are late for work at times, but not every time I decide to go in. I use too love the place but now I'm fed up and will find another place.
