This gift shop is so weird. It is like a old lady clothing store. They do not sell anything anyone wants. We looked several times because we really wanted to spend some money here and the only thing good we got was a sticker. Extremely disappointing read more

They earn a star for having some Stuff from the movie and TV series. Besides that, overpriced items that have little to do with Colorado or the national park. I wonder how this little shop can stay in business. It has so much potential, though. read more

Owner thought we were trying to pass off a fake quarter. We received said quarter as change after a purchase from the Colorado cherry company just downstairs. I've heard of printing fake money, but ain't nobody got time for minting fake quarters... read more

This gift shop has a very interesting mix of items with prices all over the board - lots of leather goods (purses, wallets, rhinestone bags shaped like guitars), lots of jewelry - charms, turquoise necklaces and sparkly jewels at varying percentages off, clothing, stuffed animals, bedazzled chargers, Stanley Hotel branded swag and postcards! We picked up some postcards for 65 cents each and got Gran a scarf (at 50 percent off) with butterflies on it for $12.00. Of course there was also an assortment of gifts from The Shining as well. read more

I didn't end up getting anything and did want to make a note that I didn't see any customer parking (there's a small lot next door but when I pulled in all the parking was reserved for the other businesses) so bear that in mind! It's not far from the public free garage down the street tho, so you can park there and walk which is what I did, if you don't want to pay for parking downtown during the day hours.

However, I am not sure if they've changed clothing buyers or what but the clothing selection is so frumpy and everything is crocheted flowers. I have no idea what's happened to the inventory, but it is the most depressing outdated clothing.. I am not going to give the store a bad review because it is a wonderful place to shop. I just want to bring attention to the owners. It's rare to find good pieces up here in Estes and the drastic change, not only in clothing, but also in the reduction of jewelry is a little confusing to me. She then replied within one day with a formal quote. I sent her some inspirational photos as well. I more than doubled my initial budget, because of how thorough and detailed she was, and the list of flowers she provided was sensational. I added on corsages and boutonnieres too! Everyone took home the centerpieces, they just loved them. I stared at the bouquets and centerpieces and could not believe how such a brief interaction, a couple of e-mails could have allowed their team to create arrangements of my dreams! It was as if I was there with them, telling them this is exactly what I wanted, and more, mind readers! I highly recommend this amazing florist and team of gifted local professionals. The staff was super helpful while we were shopping, helping us find stuff and get a box to take the plants home safely. Not a huge shop but so many plants from flowers to trees. There were seeds all on the wall inside with the gardening supplies. They had a few items that would be good for gifts, they have some art, books, kitchen items, and house plants (succulents, jades, etc...). The plants don't look their best in the spring because they are dormant. So a beginner would likely dismiss these as dead plants for sale. But long-time Rocky Mountain gardeners know these dry-looking tufts will wake up and grow into healthy plants by late spring or early summer. I've bought many of my starter native plants here and they have matured and multiplied through the years. However, beginners can get lots of help and advice from staff. You need to overcome the expectation of wanting lush, green seedlings to take home. These plants are priced higher than those in big box stores, but they are worth it. They have been acclimated to the local conditions, outside of cozy greenhouses with built in sprinklers. They will settle well in your Rocky Mountain backyard.

Dave drove to Evergreen, so beautiful and mostly everything was closed. I stumbled upon JP Total Farmer Market using my trusty Yelp App. They were open until 7:00 and I figured we could get some local peaches and maybe a pie. So we parked the RV in the lot and Dave said let's take Freckles with us. So we entered this eclectic Farmer's Market where there were four inviting rocking chairs at the entrance. Dave went ahead and the owner went crazy over Freckles. They were like if you didn't bring her in we would be sad because we love dogs! It's like Freckles knew it too-she was so well behaved and she got some nice dog biscuits from the lady and ate them immediately! Dave bought a beautiful cherry pie that is homemade and ready to bake. I got a few humongous peaches that were so perfect and grown in Colorado. We talked and they had vacationed regularly on Ft. Meyers Beach until Ian did a number on it! It was so nice to meet these ladies who made us feel so comfortable! If I were a little younger I might consider moving to this inviting city! If you're in the area please come and visit and enjoy all their local and homemade products.

We were assisted by a young man named Evan, who was extremely helpful. He answered our questions, gave us great information that novices like us wouldn't have even thought of, and helped us adjust the poles to our height. In an age where customer service is often lacking, we found a true professional. If I was starting a business tomorrow, I would try to hire Evan.
