Working with Dinh at Websitesyes was a great experience. My business partner and I did our own…read morewebsite at first using the godaddy template which took a lot of our time and ultimately the end result was not good. And once we finished it, we never wanted to change it because of all the aggravation. Dinh solved all of that for us. First, he helped us create a site that we were happy to launch. And Second, he let us feel comfortable knowing that with his services, you never have to feel complacent about your site. He let us know that anything we wanted to change would be done in a timely manner. This is what he means by incorporating young and fresh content. It was such a pleasure working with Dinh which is important because now that I don't have to worry about putting the new content up I can just send an email to Dinh and let him know what I want added or removed. And one other great thing is that Dinh uses robots that can tell what type of device is viewing the content. This is extremely important because many people use their phones or tablets to view content. The robots automatically adjust how the page is viewed based on what platform it is viewed upon which is a huge difference from our original website which was very difficult to view on a phone. Thanks again Dinh.

So I really hate giving bad reviews to businesses, especially smaller ones, but I don't think I'll…read morebe coming back. I've had two experiences with The Design Pit, the first being to design a soda can and the second was to polish up a logo. The first time, after six weeks of back and forth, and I think around 250+ dollars of investment, we ended up getting nowhere and I had to ask for a refund. The staff was nice, however the mockup I sent and the result didn't match even a little and it had taken weeks and weeks of correspondence for nothing. The most recent time was trying to polish up a logo for my company. Let me walk you through the timeline, so around 10:30AM I had sent my mockups, I got a response back fairly quickly and was told it should take about an hour a $60 per hour, perfectly reasonable. I sent everything in at 11:30. At 1:30 (2 hours later) I had gotten a response asking for more materials to help finish up the process. Another whole hour passes by and I was asked to provide another form of the material which I had provided. Then at 3:00 (3 and a half hours after the initial send in) I get a response that its finally finished and was sent an invoice at $70 dollars along with the notice that I would get a follow up link to pay. I was already annoyed that it had taken around 3 times as long as first implied but whatever things happen you know, they might have delays or extra orders and I do my best to be understanding to that. I responded to the invoice email within ONE minute asking for the link to pay them. No response. I then followed up 15 minutes later. No response. I then followed up again an hour later. No response again. Lastly I sent and email the NEXT morning asking for just a link to pay. And sure enough, no response. TheDesignPit has no phone number or even hours on their website so I had to drive down there (30 minute drive) to get a few PDFs emailed to me. Went I got down there they told me they were closed on Fridays in summer but they'd do it anyway. Now I'm really not one to be stingy, however I was told that I'd have my designs in an hour at 11:30, and I had to go down there on my own almost a whole 24 hours later to get my completed design. If I hadn't gone down there, my finished product would've just sat there for two extra days, when it took all around 10 minutes for them to email me the PDF while I was there. I still had to pay the full $70 which I found a bit ridiculous being that their service took 24x previously implied, and I had to drive down there. I wasn't about to demand a lower price due to the time constraint I was on, however I feel as though they definitely should've lowered it significantly, or at least issue a small refund. I'm happy to pay, but part of what I payed for wasn't just the product, but also the service. And they weren't exactly joyed or apologetic in the slightest to get me my logo while I was there. TheDesignPit does good work, and they are a group of talented designers, the main issue seems to be purely based on organization and promptly answering lines of communication. I really wanted to enjoy their business as to why I went a second time despite being disappointed the first time. But nothings changed so for those reasons I won't be coming back.
