I decided to get them a gift certificate for the family photos. I stumbled upon Paula Roberts photography by the way of Yelp. I had look at others but for some reason Paula Roberts Photography stood out to me. Her pictures are phenomenal. Each ones , I looked at ...she would capture the moment. And that's what I loved about her work. The more I got to read her story on her business page the more I decided I want her to do my friends family photos. They great thing was she was from NC and my friends lived in NC too. It was a great match. My friend was grateful for the family photos they had a great time in the shoot. And the pictures were amazing. They were happy with their new family photos. Paula Roberts Photography is like the best of the best ... since last year Paula Roberts Photography has done two other events for me as well. The photos are phenomenal.. and she captured my moments.. and that's what I love. Some Photographers has it and some don't or they try to create it. You can't create moments they just happen. She loves her job and takes a pride in what she does. Even tho she lives in NC . I live in SC and she will come. She's the best photographer I know. We tried to get the raw footage from her and she never responded . We are so disappointed all the speeches were edited out. It started to go down hill the closer we got to the wedding. Her communication was poor, would set up meetings and miss them. The day of she was sick so she had someone take her place to do the photos and her brother did the video footage. Ben did an amazing job and was honestly a great fit for us the day of the wedding. After the wedding I waited about 8 weeks to reach out about the photos, especially since she didn't even take them. She did not respond to me. I didn't get a response until 3 and 1/2 months after the wedding saying she has had some personal things occur and will get me my photos and video. I didn't get my photos until 6 months later and never got the video footage. I attempted to call and text and I even spoke with her husband. He said he would get me the footage but never did. It's almost a year since my wedding and I am extremely hurt and disappointed. She is unprofessional and uncommunicative. I paid her for this footage and never received it. It looks like I am not the only one who has experienced this. I would not recommend her. Look elsewhere for someone who will speak with you and work with you. She constantly used her personal life as an excuse when at the end of the day she is running a business. It's not fair to hold that over your customers and not deliver something we paid a lot of money for. I even paid early so I would get a little discount. I am sad to say I will never see the wedding footage, but I am happy I at least got my photos.

She was patient when we were indecisive, had wonderful suggestions, a great eye for the best photos, and it was clear that she really enjoyed each photo session. One of the greatest things was during our wedding reception: Corey took pictures all during the event and captured some really beautiful moments that we would have otherwise missed. You can tell when she is happy with a shot, and that always made us excited about it as well. They also offered their photobooth service at a discounted combination rate. I LOVED their props. These are not typical props at all! Amish beard, cat mask, lightsabers. They were so much fun to work with. In other weddings we've attended, sometimes machines break down or they run out of paper (I know, what?!) But we didn't have any of these issues. Additionally, they sent us a super cute photo box with a USB of our photos and a lot of the print outs! One piece of advice I have for any couple is to have a mirror around, or ask your photographers to see yourself before the photos begin. Simply because my bangs didn't look as good as I wish they did. Oh well, the photos still turned out great and I loved the little details that made their photos even more romantic It was such a pleasure working with them and I would def recommend them to anyone. We're pretty laid back and didn't have a lot of specifications about what we wanted and Justin was just so comfortable taking the lead. He made us feel at ease in front of the camera and captured so many beautiful candid moments of us and our guests. We had two 80 person ceremonies, a traditional Indian one and an American one. Both nights, Justin hustled to get every shot we didn't even know we wanted. His energy is so much fun to be around and all out guests made comments about how hard he worked and how friendly he is. Saying the pictures turned out beautiful is an understatement. They are more than we could have asked for. Going with Inner Song was absolutely the best decision we made!
