Great customer service all around. Walked me on how to fix my tv and gave me great advice on what needed to be done.

Quoted over $300 to repair a 3 year old samsung uhd 4k. Person behind counter said it would be $120 for the light that went out and the rest in labor with no guarantee that the screen would not crack during screen removal. Half of my screen backlight was not working. Decided not to repair and I said I would just leave it a bulk trash. He kept wanting me to just dispose of it there... saying all bulk trash comes back to him anyways. He kept insisting and I declined. YouTubed it and bought the necessary piece for $30 and got it in 2 days. 1 hour later the TV is working again. Seriously shady and not trustworthy. read more

A+++++++++ After calling around looking for the best price to replace a lamp in my TV I found Chuck's who was substantially less expensive, $125 versus the average $300 I was being told. Not only were they more reasonably priced, they replaced a fan for the price of the part only (no service charge). They even went the extra mile by showing us how to clean the filter every month to avoid the issue happening again. And the kicker for me is they are local, local, local!!! read more

I am absolutely losing faith in Yelp after my experience with Chucks TV repair, a shop that supposedly got four stars with six reviews. I brought my TV in for repair today and apparently Chuck's son was running the shop. He was on the phone with another customer and obviously upset. While still on the phone with the other customer, he began to ask for my information. I told him I didn't mind waiting until he's finished with his call but he refused to do that and kept asking for my information. After giving it to him, he turned my TV face down onto his counter, which was not clean. I asked him not to put the TV face down because it would get scratched. He told me to that my "fucking TV" would be fine and that he was not scratching it. When I asked him to turn the TV right side up, he told me to fuck off and called me a bitch. I took the TV and went outside of the store because he was so irate. Two women from a shop next-door came out to check on me and told me that he was Chuck's son, and that he treats all of their customers that way. While they were talking to me, he came out and threw my power cord on the sidewalk and told me that I would not be able to get my TV fixed anywhere in town because he would make sure of that. Not sure if the guy was going through meth withdrawals or what, but stay away! I really feared that he was going to physically assault me. So HAPPY with their work on our older 72" TV. We had a load of white and black pixels on the left side of our big screen, and some on the right. The screen was looking dull. Within a week we had our TV back and the screen is AWESOME! He had to replace a chip and a lamp and had a lot to clean up in there. It's amazing how clear the screen is. Price was right. They just saved us $1500.00 PLUS. Didn't have to buy another TV. THANK YOU CHUCK!! read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. It is a shame people like this are in business, honestly. Or maybe it's the fact that I have single mother of 3 (take advantage of me) written on my face? They are nothing but con-artists and thieves to say the least! Long story short, I was told I was better off buying new since it would take over $1,000 to fix it. Only to "rape" my tv for parts. Finding this out after wanting a second opinion, taking it to another tv repair place to be told that, had Chucks tv repair not kept my $300 chip and other important fan that it would've taken a couple hundred bucks to fix it. NOW, after taking it to Chucks tv repair, I have a 60" piece of worthless plastic. My parts were sure not worthless to them though...I hope the money they make is worth the Karma coming to them. DO NOT TAKE YOUR TV THERE! I will be reporting to the BBB and contacting the media. I want nothing out of this other than the principal of doing whats right and warning the residents of Mesa since he pops up as the closest in our area. Worth the drive to go elsewhere! Owner states on there website been working in TV repair for 35 years but can not repair a 10 year old TV with geometry issues.

I had a problem with my large TV set that needed repairs. I thought about buying a new one because other repair places wanted so much money just to take a look at it. Chucks TV Repair come out, picked up the TV set, brought it back to their shop to repair and then delivered it back. They gave me a firm and very fair and reasonable price quote with no surprises. These days good customer service is hard to come by, much less great customer service. I needed to replace the lamp in my Samsung projection TV. The service man I spoke to asked me to bring it in & he would test it to make sure that was the right part I needed. He could tell by looking at it, & so could I, that it was blown. He replaced the bulb into the housing at no charge. I had no idea how to do that. He even played with my crying baby, which made him a happy baby. Magic touch all the way around. I have a Samsung 67" LED DLP rear projection TV and I was getting the white/black spots on the screen. After looking online I found out it was the DLP chip going bad and it was a known issue for all these types of TVs. One call to Chucks and they confirmed that was indeed the issue but they said the cost would depend on the price of the chip. The only issue was getting the TV down to the store. I had to tear apart the van to get it to fit but dropped it off on a Friday when we were heading out of town and picked it up the following Friday all fixed. The nice part was the price was the lower of the estimates they gave. Some places would always be the higher estimate but not here. When I got it home the picture was shifted down and a call to them on Tuesday and another trip down they fixed it up and didn't charge me to replace the brackets on the mirror that had shifted. I would definitely recommend the shop to repair your TV. read more
