Honestly I loved all the teachers here except one . One I'm reminded about pretty often. She…read moremust've been a mean teacher if I still remember her 12 years later. Every single day I hope I don't see her in the streets and she falsely asks me how I am and how it's nice to see me after all these years. Her name was Ms.Griffin (I think she's since been married... Poor guy) She had that 'let me talk talk to your manager' hair cut. I remember her being really mean to all the girls in the class and nonchalantly low key flirting with all the boys (we were 9-10 years old wtf !) and the next door teacher, Mr.Shy (uhm excuse me lady he was married !!) , and I remember her making at least three girls cry. One because she covered her eye with her hair and made fun of her till she cried (along with another teacher), and the second because we had a girl who really enjoyed the next door teacher mr.shy ( he was really cool !!) and she said something and me.griffin snapped and said 'God Brittany, don't be such a kiss ass !'.. She said that to a 5th grader and she made me cry for dress coding me AFTER SCHOOL HOURS ! . She really had it out for the females. Oh but the trouble maker boys ? Nah, she loved to talk to them and be nice. She had all 3 trouble maker boys of the 5th grade class in her classroom. She was also extremely raunchy and inappropriate when she would bend over (on purpose) in front of the trouble maker boys exposing her thong ! (One day it was an American flag ). I've had MANY MANY teachers and professors since , and have never had a teacher traumatize me as much as Ms.Griffin. I still think of her. Every.day. How bad does a teacher have to be to remember her everyday 12 years later ? EDIT: ms.griffin is appearantly Mrs.scott now. Surprisingly she's married . Poor dude . Still a fifth grade teacher

I recently attended my grandson's 8th grade graduation from Calvary Christian Academy.  What a…read moregreat ceremony with less than 40 students graduating, it went by quickly.  We are so used to sitting on some hot bleachers for two hours before they call your kid's name off the list at other schools. This was in a very nice air conditioned, newly remodeled auditorium. He is my second grandchild to graduate from this school, we still have one more to go and a handful of nieces & nephews who also attend. So overall we have been coming here to school performances and Holiday shows since my eldest grandson started here in 2011. He is now in High School at Mater Dei. I was a bit reticent when they started going to this school because I would have preferred them to attend a Catholic private school. Because we are Catholic. But as usual time has proven me wrong. The wonderful academic excellence and innovation, that this school provides has showed me that, the right choice was made. I see how happy and well rounded my grandkids have become. They are into sports, music; one plays the cello incredibly well. It seems that this school places a high priority on individual achievements, probably due to the 13:1 student teacher ratio. All of this with the added benefit of providing a moral education along with the academic one. The school is very well maintained, and the staff is incredible. Grandparents are treated as special guests; we even have a special day when the kids perform just for us. So, in my humble opinion this is one of, if not the finest private pre-school to 8th grade school in Chula Vista. I am a fan and I guess always have been. I highly recommend this illustrious private school!

These teachers pray for their students, they take the time to make sure things are prepared for their students. And the director and assistant director or wonderful. This is a wonderful, safe and healthy environment for any preschool family from any form of background. One thing I loved about this school when I first started working there was even if you don't believe or aren't a Christian, this school will still accept you. And that to me, shows their true hearts.

The staff are nice Mrs. Gonzalez was such a great teacher and Mr. Steller along with Mr. Gutierrez. They made my days better and they were the reason I wanted to go to school every single day. The staff were always nice and willing to help. The after school program was extremely fun with activities ready for us to do not only that they were always on top of there game. If I had to say a worst, honestly I would have to say Victory is underrated, this school and all its facilities staff made it a priority to assist in any issues I had, and the school events give my daughter so much pride being apart of Victory.

Mrs B. in Kindergarten is an amazing teacher who brought our child's academics to the next level, all the while fostering a safe and nurturing environment. She was an instrumental part of our child's growth over the past year, and is the main reason our youngest loves her school so much. She is an absolutely wonderful teacher. Mrs Ashley in first grade, and Mrs Kohl, in second grade, worked closely with our oldest daughter for the past two years. I can't say enough about these amazing teachers. They have fostered a love of learning in our child, and she is now reading and writing, and doing math far above grade level, compared to her friends that are in public schools. My family loves Victory Christian Academy and I can't see my kids attending any other school. The Principal, teachers and families are all top notch and together they have created a very special school. If you are looking for a safe and engaging school that has high academics, a focus on biblical studies and an amazing staff, this is the school for you.
