There are many opportunities to pray and speak with someone even though they are such a large church. Pastor Charles messages are relatable and able to be understood by anyone. She discovered his church was 25 minutes away from dad's house and asked if we could attend when we are in PA. Of course, it became our PA church home. Awesome teaching, awesome music and we are always sincerely greeted at the doors so great people too! We are now moving to PA next month and Calvary will now be our home church every weekend. At times, the tone used with them has felt overly harsh or dismissive. Rather than feeling welcomed, our children often feel anxious or ignored, which is heartbreaking when church should be a safe and uplifting place for them to grow in faith. We believe children deserve kindness, understanding, and encouragement -- especially in a church setting. It's disheartening to see such a missed opportunity to foster positive, Christ-like guidance for the next generation. We truly hope the leadership will take a closer look at how kids are being treated and make the necessary changes to create a more loving, respectful, and inclusive environment for all ages.
