firstly, w signage, literally, you can see from the street, the w sign. then, before you walk…read morethrough the door, there is a variety of christian music playing under and around the veranda. and tonight, going as i type, is an auction event supporting the church and its mission work. i'd expected to join a worship service as i walked to and into the front entrance, but was pleasantly surprised to find an auction that appeared to start little earlier than scheduled. among the auction items to which i'd been attracted was a silver tray with olive branches design that i think would be useful for either serving a meal to an individual or presenting silverware at a group meal. really the hot item category, though, as per use at any event it is present, would be the food, among which a lemon blueberry zucchini cake drew me to it more than any other. nonetheless, although i'd left before the presentation, in which i understand to be the event in which the church mission work either was, is, or will be discussed, with the best estimate i can offer while waiting for a ride and jamming to the veranda music being that it either is or will be. and lastly, to ensure i'm not leaving the impression that all i got from the first visit of mines to the church, i'll add that at least 3 individuals communicated to me the church worship service schedule, with that being 5:30 dinner, followed by worship service each wednesday, along with a young adult group scripture reflection, at 8 that day, for individuals in the 20s age group, followed by alternating gatherings between the closest b dub wings, with wings on the church, as well as snackage in the church vestibule, with the former coming during the nearest week. and the sunday service schedule, from what i understood, is 8:15, 9:15, and 11. i'll conclude by letting you know when i plan to return is for the young adult group gathering, but it truly sounded and looked to me like there is value at the church for every age group from kids, to whatever the step after young adult is, not sure i'm there yet lol

I had to put my AirPod Pros in on noise cancellation mode just to cope with the dangerously loud decibels that overwhelming this place. There are zero people here over the age of 40. The person giving the message was clearly anti-Trump and said she was bothered by everything that's happened in the past two months, (since Trump took office). I am an elder in Christ's church and didn't feel comfortable at this place at all. I was only here because of a family gathering, but would never choose to go to City Church on my own accord. i was granted the opportunity to attend saturday shabbat service, which I've been trying to attend…read moreevery first saturday of the month, though the service is hosted nearly every saturday morning. although i've grown up catholic christian by tradition, i'm nonetheless grateful for the opportunity to grow the range of my faith expression through participating in a religious tradition of another widely practiced religion in judaism. further, while my interest in participating within the jewish faith tradition comes in significant part from being invited by a specific family to the synagogue during my youth, i've also been kindly welcomed by other members in the congregation during multiple visits in the past year. so, although i'm relatively new to the routine of participating in the jewish faith tradition through saturday morning shabbat service, i'd definitely suggest to anyone, with or without a current religious or faith practice, going to the event calendar on the website of the synagogue to request attending a shabbat service as a method of connecting with a higher power and gaining insight into the inter-connectedness of faith tradition.

The band definitely sound like they were from the 40's and they did such a great job. I think they even went out of the way to dress and sound just like that era. Everyone came dressed the part which was really cool and they had a lot of really good dancers. The athmosphere was fun and it was old to young.
